Furthermore, do you think Bush knows more about warfare than those working in the Pentagon?

Anyone with common sense would know the Pentagon is right. Bush has a political agenda. The military staff at the Pentagon have spent their whole careers on strategic warfare and planning. Why would any idiot continue to believe this administration over the the experts?

Civil war is already going on in Iraq. I don't think anyone can reason with Bush. It appears to me that whatever he believes is the only way and he's not open to having anyone tell him any different or offering an opposing opinion. That's a very bad character flaw for someone who's supposed to be leading our country.

There has been a civil war in Iraq for years, which is why the Iraqi casualty count has been running over 2000 dead per month.

Bush just doesn't want to call it a civil war, because that hurts his propaganda operation. And if Bush is refusing to listen to the Pentagon when it comes to assessment of miltiary situations, that just goes more to prove how much the man has lost touch with reality.

The Administration often uses its various agencies to float trial political balloons...this sounds like just such a situation.
