Why must Republicans resort to grotesque lies & character assassination?

I've been following political discourse here and elsewhere on the Net. And I've learned some fascinating things about the Democratic Party! Did you know:

-- That the Democratic Party is just itchin' to confiscate rich people's money so they can lavish it on lazy immoral scum??

-- That the Democrats want to surrender this country to the terrorists??

-- That Democrats most care about protecting molesters and other degenerates, rather than children??

-- That the Democrats are "far to the left of the Communists"??

Recognize this Party? I don't either! But Republicans are so hate-filled it's driven them off the deep end, and they actually believe their own rabid spin. In contrast, all the Demos have to do is tell the TRUTH about the GOP. Maybe that's why they're so angry-- it's awareness of their own FAILURE at ruling.
This ludicrous crap about the Democrats is falling flat. You'll have to do better. Or keep preaching to the choir,and looking like loonies.

I can empathize with anybody, even if I can't sypathize for them.

It must be impossible to live with the fact that your party has had the presidency, the Congress, the Senate, and even the Supreme Court all locked up for years now, exactly the way you've always wanted it, and yet our Nation has never been lower in every relevant category... but you know in your heart it will be even lower tomorrow. And there truly is no one else to blame it on. As a republican conservative, even you know that.

I would not be able to hold my head up if I knew that fully two-thirds of my Country and ninety-nine percent of the rest of the world all loathes me, and for very good reasons that even I must see, no matter how hard I try not to.

After this long, it must be as crazy to you as to everybody else that you still blame it on Jimmy Carter, Bubba's ghost, Gore's lack of forethought, and Kerry's lack of patriotism. But you know the times today are despicable, we're 8.7 trillion dollars in debt to the Red Chinese, and we haven't even considered paying any of our bills yets. Every middle-class and working class family in this Nation is suffering immeasurably, and only the rich have benefitted. It's impossible to consider this to be a "Family Value."

You know in your heart that it's Dubya's ghost that will haunt you and your kids and grandkids forever. You know it's Cheney's lack of forethought that has us in much of this mess, and you know that Kerry served two tours in Viet Nam under the worst of conditions while your own boys hid out in an officer's club bar in the Texas Air National Guard, and on a wild, partying campus and then at a shady financial institution that lived the life of Caligula.

You preach moral and family values and ethics, but you know your party has done more harm to these honorable things lately than any ten democratic presidents. And then there's the Patriot Act, the war in Iraq and the way we got there, the plundering of the Treasury, Social Security, the scandalous cuts to the schools, the police, the fire departments, and even MediCare. All because your party demanded you buy into these things and let these things happen, even after you knew better.

Yes, Bubba had extramarital sex in the Oval Office and he refused to talk about hardly any of it, and when he did, he lied. But you know what your own President and Vice President and Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense have said and done to Congress, the Senate, and the American people, including yourself. You have enough honesty and upbringing to feel shame that you're justifying all this while holding Clinton to an obscenely higher set of moral, ethical, and political values. And then there's that Constitution scandal to have to try to ignore or whitewash... Dubya, why did you have to say that in front of witnesses? You believe that maybe it's alright to think it to yourself or even to do it, but WHY did you have to say it aloud in front of others? You really are a chimp...

You still try to make believe your Emperor has clothes, but the more you lie for him, the more naked you feel. You have waking nightmares that you're naked and everyone sees it all. But you figure with safety in numbers, there's enough of you that the rest of the world doesn't notice exactly how naked you are.

At this point in the presidency, you must want to eat a gun or walk in front of a bus. So all you can do to keep from going crazy is slam democrats and try to thwart off and bait the other two-thirds of the Country and pretty much the entire rest of the world. But you're getting tired, even tired of listening to yourself.

Your best hope is that the Cavalry arrives in the November election, because even you know you won't be able to do this for two more years if you can't have anyone else to blame all this mess on. You may even vote secretly for Democrats.

You're so tired of having to look, sound, and act like a loony. You know there's still a good person in there somewhere, even if he or she isn't allowed to come out. The Party comes before all else, even the future of your Country and your own family.

So you do what you do best. You lie, slander, and hope everybody else is as inferior as you'e always believed they are. But deep down inside, you know that they know.

They all know.

And you really are naked.

Looking like loonies??? Who would know better than ANYONE about looking badly than a Democrat? You claim the Republicans say this stuff?? How about the things that Democrats say about EVERYONE & the pathetic people who believe them?? I am NOT a Republican & THANK GOD I am NOT a Democrat. I am one of the few people remaining who believe in voting for "A PERSON" & not a cartoon character. I will NOT follow the party line B.S. blindly without question!!! I ONLY vote for the person whom "I" feel will do the BEST job. No, I did NOT vote for Clinton, the creep makes my skin crawl to this day. Neither party is what they were formed to represent, NEITHER PARTY!!! Like every religion or organization, they have wandered off into different directions. Each direction chosen by the party or organizationss leader at that particular time.
NOTHING will EVER be accomplished in this country because There are Replublican & there are Democrats. The ONLY WAY ANYTHING WILL GET BETTER IS WHEN THE POLITICAL PARTIES ARE ELIMINATED & PEOPLE ARE FORCED TO VOTE "ONLY" FOR PEOPLE & ISSUES. NO MORE OF THIS I AM A REPUBLICAN!!! So I vote Republican!!! I don't like the candidates or what they represent, BUT I AM A REPUBLICAN. SAME WITH THE DEMOCRATS!!! who in my opinion are a bit more extreme in this type of voting. Then again, I know of several Democrats who switched partys when Clinton ran for the first time. THAT IS SOOOO HILARIOUS!!!!

THE CLINTON YEARS should have been an eye opener that the Democratic party was beyond scraping the bottom of the barrel for candidates, that is until SCARRY KERRY emerged from the ooze.
I'm sure the Democrats selective memory has allowed you to also forget that Gore wanted to bus mental patients to polling centers to vote & also allow prisoners to vote. HA HA HA HA !!! It just cracks me up what these pathetic morons will do for a vote.

I wouldn't worry too much about their lies. It is catching up to them and the American people aren't as dumb as the right-winged wackos want to believe. Bush and his cronies rode on the tide of terrorism for too long, but after a while the public notices the cracks, the inconsistencies in word and actions. Bush is bringing down the republican party and some in the party, like some of the wackos answering this post, are too stupid to know that Americans are finally paying attention.
