I think so. That place was a cesspool of the lowest forms of humanity. My only complaint is that Katrina didn't finish the job and wipe them all out ... instead now plenty of other areas are suffering spikes in violent crime as the virus of New Orleans social culture (or lack thereof) has spread.

No I wish they had never been hit. not because i care about them but because they have hurt the city of Houston "my home" and all the political BS that I'm tired of hearing and seeing Mainly from Ray Nagin "Idiot" and tired of all the lazy unmotivated Louisianians panhandling on the Houston streets with signs saying lost home katrina ect. BS If Houston gets hit with a Hurricane like Katrina we come home go to work rebuild and get on with our life. Not abuse the government and public assistance. They are LEECHES
cat 5 slamming New Orleans this year sounds good to me.just hope they dont evacuate here

no one or no place should or would deserve such a destruction. ever hear of being humane, of humanity? everywhere has crime, new orleans no less or no more than any other place or city. i bet if you actually bothered to look at statistics, it would say some other city had the highest crime rate. there are lots of places around the world with worse kind of crimes going on!! new orleans is unique because of its mixture of culture, there are not a lot of places like that left, what happened was a travesty.

What a complete idiot you are! How can you be so lacking in compassion for the people who lost everything, the families who lost members, and everyone who lost their whole way of life?

By the way, the cesspool with the lowest form of humanity is wherever you are.

Wow! you are a meany.
Did nature just jump down and destroy New Orleans?
The Mississippi coastline fared far worse.
Did they get what they deserved?
How about the janitor on the 89th floor of building 1 of the trade towers?
Did he get what he deserved?
You don't like New Orleans social culture, try Atlanta or LA, or Chicago.

Maybe you should move to an island somewhere far from any humans. It would be advantagious to you and society. I think I saw a place on the map called "Ignorant Isle" it's on the planet Pluto (even though it's not considered one, that's where all the idiots go)

NO ONE EVER deserves that type of devastation. New Orleans has a great culture,; they are just located in the wrong area.

....Not everyone from New Orleans was the way you describe. Open your eyes, have you lived in New Orleans, and met every single person? I don't think so. There were innocent people who died. Even if they were doing some crimes, they did not know what they were doing, it was how they were raised.

Sounds like you are the dregs of humanity, to have humanity you must first have an empathy with your fellow human being- which you obviously dont.
You are entitled to your opinion, however, lets hope something like that isnt wished on you.
