I am 27 and I intend to run for president when I am 45 or 50. One thing I will do is take over the continent of Africa. The country will be consolidated and run as a single nation with states like the U.S. I will then reinstate the draft and invade the middle east taking control of the entire region. From there we will consolidate south america. When I am done there will never be another war again. Any resistance to my plan will be met with complete annihalation. Vote Cordova!

It seems like our elected officials spend a lot of time doing things other than working for you and me. Things sit undone at the end of each session, yet they have plenty of time to campaign for themselves or others, all the while getting a paycheck from Joe and Jane Taxpayer. I don't get paid if I take a day off to interview for a new job. Should they be getting a paycheck for leaving work undone while they hit the campaign trail?

I thought Isreal was created first; The palestinians and their territories were created after the fall of the Ottman Empire. Thus the palestinian people are really just refugees from the fall and were then ruled over by the British. So, weren't the Isrealites first and it is really their land?

I've been doing a lot of research on comparitive religions. Everyone claims that islam is a discriminate religion. But I've been visiting Churches, Synagogues and Mosques. What I found out is the churches were segragated, they had White man chuches, Black Man Churches, Greek Churches, Orthodox Churches etc... When I visited synagogues, I also realised that they were segragated, in other words, you would never see white and black people praying together. Now when I visited a mosque, it was beautiful to see white people, black people, asian people, oriental people, medditeranean people all stand as one and pray together. I then visited more mosques and realised the same thing, UNITY. They stand together, white man next to black, and they don't even look at skin colour. I sent one of my white colleagues into a black mans church, everyone kept on looking and he had to leave. I then sent a black man into a white mans church, and the same occured. No brotherhood. Has anybody realised this?

The UK government gives money to 6,955 Church of England, Roman Catholic and Methodist schools, 36 Jewish schools, six Muslim, two Sikh, one Greek Orthodox and one Seventh Day Adventist school. I am asking respondents to give a reasoned answer as to whether or not we should continue to support schools that have a religious component outside statutory religious education, which all school children receive. The government has recently opened a commission to look at the "cohesion and integration" of our society. I believe that this question should form part of this debate, as I believe that the teaching of a faith to children has a big impact upon their most fundamental thought processes, and that to ignore this question is to ignore the next generation of our society. Thanks to those of you who answer this question.

Do you base your selection on who best reiterates your point of view? Or do you base your selection on the best written, interesting, funny answer, regardless of whether not they agree with your position? I don’t think one way is better than the other, I’m just curious about what you guys do.
