I think it is a joint effort. I don't think any one party is doing it all their self even though the Bush is republican.

I don't there is a place for anyone to put down one party as you never know what the other party would be doing in the same situations. Hind-sight.

The general population of the US is relatively safe. but theres over 130,000 folks deployed in the mid east who might not feel too safe.

I feel less safe under the Republican Administration. Certainly more of the world dislikes the U.S. and that can't be good.

Of course not. They need your paranoia to stay in office. So a little terrorism cant be so bad for them. Look at their policies. They are inviting hatred against their whole country not only from Muslim people.
