If you believe in a Biblical perspective the world as we know it WILL end. It is not a question of "if" but "when" it will end.

In a sense the world "as we know it" ends every day. Certainly the world as I knew it 40 years ago ended long ago. The world is constantly changing. I agree that many of the recent changes are not necessarily for the best. On the other hand our ability to communicate in so many diferent ways - including opportunities like this - means that we can mobilise and motivate people to resist unwelcome changes. Movements like environmentalism, organic farming and many others can provide a counterforce to the forces for bad listed by the questioner. In other words, "yes - but that might not be a bad thing!"

Oh yes, no doubt about it. Our Sun is a dying Star. When the sun goes out, so will we. However in the mean time we will just have to put up with all the corrupt governments that are driven purely by personal greed, the vandalism, lack of repect for anything, the hardships suffered by many so the few can become even richer and more powerful, the :Do Gooders: that are destroying our lives {you cant put him in prison, he didnt mean to stab that young girl: the poor boy was on drugs etc etc

Yes the world is coming to and end, the ice cap will melt, the sea will rise, cities and men will be swept away by the inexorable tide, agricultural land and most of the great cities of the world will be inundated with water, untold millions will die, those who don't drown will die of starvation, disease and lack of clean drinking water.
Western Civilisation will collapse.
Some people will have a good chance of survival: Mongolians, Tibetans, Afghans, Kurds, Gurkhas, Nepalese, Swiss, Peruvians......
Interestingly, these people may well all have the ability to keep the rest of us out of their territory.
Not much chance for the English, I'm afraid. They may try to flock into Wales or Scotland, but I am not sure they will be welcome.

The world is in a constant FLUX, and if you look at history, there seems to be a lot of repeat! True enough there is a major problem with the environment, and it makes it worse when you are very aware of it, and feel helpless to do anything!

But each snowflake in an avelanche is sort of responsible, and we can all make changes and actions in our own way to make a difference, and it does, and it catches on, so think positive and be positive Its a beautiful world, and worth the effort.

I wonder that myself. Besides the things that you mentioned there are, PNAC, NWO, The Blue Beam Project. Our own president isnt concerned about the people of the United States. Both political parties wanting all the illegals here just for their votes...........makes a person wonder.

No.

The world has gone through cycles since the world began. It's not a harbinger of bad things to come, just another cycle the world is going through.

Man made problems are just that, man made, and they can be reversed, changed or managed.

If you read the book of Revelations, you will notice that a lot of the horrible things that are said to happen in the last days, are in deed happing. Most people really don't want to talk about it or face the facts, they just want to blame the government.
