To start anything you need ideas. Just about everything starts with an idea not only about whats wrong with what you currently have, but what you think needs to be changed.

Get on a boat, plane or train and head for a little country off the West coast of France. There you can gradually introduce your own religion, funded of course by the then ruling govrnment, and when there are enough of your followers, you can then declare :The country is now mine:

I would go with religeon, much easier that finding land, building an army and fighting.
Get a good swing on an already established relgion, add in abuse (especially if its based on Christianity -cult members love abuse).
Add sex, comets, and beads and VIOILA a good ole American Cult.

Starting your own religion is easy. Trivial in the US.
Starting your own country requires finding a chunk of land, or sea floor, outside the territory of any existing nation and then defending it.

First you have to win the lottery to buy an Island Then gather together a corruptible crowd of friends to form a government.
Then worry about your religion (perhaps a quick prayer before to help win the lottery)

easy in the uk when the census forms come round you have to get everyone to put down your religion as theirs even if it aint if enough people do it then it has to be recgonised as a true religion for example once loads a people put jedi now it is a religion.

you have to find a piece of land that isn't owned by anybody else to start a country and to start your own religion you have to find a belief that nobody out there has.

choose a country, sail there in a boat, get out on the beach and say to those who are with you,' I claim this territory for myself and heirs. i have power and dominion over it in perpetuity, then stick your own flag in the sand henceforth that land belongs to you.

I don't know, but I would probably follow your religions, since i know nothing about it and still believe it more than christianity.
