Going to war over oil and pretending it's for human rights issues is deceptive and underhand at best. With the resurces available in the US they could develop cleaner and more readily available fuel sources and corner a new global market

Think about it. Back then the Jewish people had a lot of power in Germany at that time. Hitler made it politically correct to hate them and their religion. Soon it became common to mock and persecute them and after that it was a hop skip and a jump into the ovens. Isn’t that what the Liberials in this country are doing to the Christians? In a few years will they be bruning Christians for fuel to heat their homes with?

Poor Bushy. Just can't get Syria and other countries to accept his intellectual well-thoughtout, well-articulated thoughts and ideas.
Then he has to whine about it to Tony Blair who surely must have the intellectual capacity to match Georgie's.

The U.S. Republican party is becoming more and more embarrassed by the fact the U.S. is the only civilized western country which does bot have universal health care for its citizens. Harper could help his neo-con friends in the U.S. by doing away with health care in Canada so the U.S. would not be alone in this equation.

The second part of the question is: "What would happen if Middleeasterners promised to stop all hostilities against Israelis?"

This disgracefull situation will continue as long as the USA backs Israel. The key to the middle east is peace between Israel and Palastine, but this will not happen untill Bush accepts their elected goverment, who care if he does not like them "democracy is democracy" accept the voter's choice they are the countrys residents and have to live with their choice. They certainly dont need a country on the other side of the world dictating to them.

The lack of respect for there choice is what has put the Middle East on the verge of war

I'm sure that Hilary Cinton is being groomed for the presidency in 2008. I'm an non-partisan voter and I wish the Democrats come out with viable solutions to our problems instead of just repeating that there are problems. She's (Hilary) will have a fight on her hands if Candy Rice is drafted into the race.

Of course, norms may be different in different local communities. But if a non-American cannot confirm, should they be considered anti-social or anti-community? Should they be allowed to live their own lives? Should the community make special effort to get to know them instead of playing games in hope of gaining control on them? Or should they be treated as guests in the hosts' house with all powers given to the host and the guests are to be helpless and at the mercy of the hosts? What should the communities expect of them?

I saw a tv program that said there's an active volcano off the coast of Africa that's ready to blow anytime now, that would set off a huge tidal wave that would hit the US and destroy all cities or towns where it lands.

1 If you owned a business that had minimum wage workers, and was forced to give them a raise, lowering your profit margin, would you change prices to counter act the raises? And if the price of materials that you purchased were also increased because your supplyer had increased prices due to a forced raise, would you again increase prices to counter act the increase?

2 If you had an employee who was making minimum wage, who was more efficient than any other worker, would you increase his/her pay on your own to keep that employee from quiting and working for a competitor?

...and why did Canadian PM Stephen Martin PRAISE the IAF for that savage attack on those tourists?...OR DID HE?

Why is the IAF taking its extreme revenge out on the world's tourists, not just in Lebanon, but all over the world?...

Why does the IAF have such extreme hatred for all of us(NOT just Palestinians, but Americans, Canadians, ANYBODY who DARES to say anything bad about this situation!)?...

My teenage son is so worried that Israel will declare war on the U.S. and Canada as their next move...

Don't blame the innocent Lebanese citizens for this situation;they hate Hezbollah, too, but are afraid to publicly say it for fear of treason charges by their Justice Ministry...

Trust me, my son is scared about this...

Political Correctness is the concept that speech should not offend its listeners. However, challenges to any concept, ideology, moral, or view often cause offense. Offense is usually a matter of position and opionion. Even diplomacy varies from mind to mind. Offense is often necessary for progress.

To enforce Political Correctness is to forbid opposing opinions. To forbid oppossing opions is to dictate speech. To dictate speech is to dictate society. To dictate society is to strive against Democracy.

Is not Political Correctness, really, Political Control?
