ABSOLUTELY!!!!

By definition Democrats beleive in more freedoms and the right to beleive what you want.

Republicans on the other hand are much more narrow minded and beleive that the ends justify the means. After all, W said "if you're not with me, you're against me"

Neither party is likely to use assassination because it is an ineffective option and doesn't solve political problems. When you take out the leader of a country you add an element of uncertainty. You never know who you are going to get as a replacement.

The classic example often quoted is what would happen if we had assassinated Hitler. Most historians now think that he would have been replaced by one of his top generals and the war would have been much harder to win. But, at the time there was wide spread support for the idea because everyone thought that would shorten the war.

There was an attempt on Hitlers life but it failed. As it turned out it was a good thing because towards the end of the war Hitler became delusional and there was a big rift between him and the military which was very helpful to the allies.

I can't decide if the question is more offensive or more stupid.

What are you drinking?

People who do assassinations don't generally subscribe to ANY political party. If they believed in the political process to achieve their goals, they'd donate to a competitor's campaign or fund an impeachment effort. Assassins operate outside the political process, and if they subscribe to any political beliefs at all, they are generally from radical or revolutionary movements like socialism, fascism, communism, or some secessionist movement.

By the way, these "assassination theories" you talk about - has it ever occured to you that they might be some kind of story dreamed up by the opposition party to influence your vote? Don't believe everything you hear, or you'll end up in a dictatorship.

I think that if enough politics are involved, it doesn't matter what side of the political arena you're on. Crazy is crazy. And assassinating people because they're in your corrupt way or defending differing views than the one that's "supposed to be right" (according to the one ordering the hit) is in direct contradiction with our civil liberties in the US (and, thus, our constitution). But then, what the hey. Bush Jr. does whatever he feels like anyway, right? Yet he's still very much alive!

Just put a sign on forehead saying "all ultra-reactionary liberal-haters who prowl the internet looking for an ego boost-right this way!" It'll get the same effect as this question.

Republicans justify killing much easier than non-republicans,so yes.

If they were, wouldn't there be a lot more dead Democrat politicians? Not only that, but why off a relatively moderate one like JFK (he cut taxes) and let an incompetent boob like Carter survive? Wouldn't we go after the really annoying ones like "Splash" Kennedy, Hillary, and Cynthia McKinney?

Well, if we consider Pat Robertson's remarks and those from Jesse Helms in regard to Clinton, it tends to point in that direction.
