Are we supposed to call each other "United Statesians" in order to be PC? We've been calling ourselves this for as long as I can remember. We don't call each other "North Americans."

that the American people should not cross the lines with regard to the seperation of church and state! Considering that crossing those lines endangers the integrety of the constitution, why is it continously done (ex: prayer in public schools, etc.), and how could anyone feel comfortable doing it?

How do you, as a christian, justify crossing those lines?

Bush's "Security and Prosperity Pact" (SPP) would combine the Countries within NAFTA (Canada, US, Mexico) into one super Country with it's own Constitution which would supercede the US Constitution and Bill of Rights, similar to what was done with the EU. Existing Borders would be erased. Since NAFTA is already approved by Congress, and our courts say treaty law supercedes US law, can the NAFTA board implement Bush's SPP without approval of Congress?

...with the way our government is monitoring everything we do?

Airport security taken to ludicrous levels, private phone calls being listened to, etc. And to call into question the First Amendment rights of the NY Times, under the guise of National Security?

This is just the tip of the iceberg. How could these things happen in the Land of the Free?

I'm not for G.W Bush, I don't even know if I'm against him (I havn't done the proper research) but I wonder if this is the position of most people who are against him (they have failed to do the proper research) ergo they open their minds to what the media has to say and they get told to believe that G.W is bad, perpetuating the cycle of media manipulation. Which brings me back to my original question, do you think the majority of anti-bush lobyists(by lobyists I just mean those who are against him) actually dislike his atrocities or do they dislike him because it is the" hip" or cool thing to do?

I know there are some things wrong with our country, but I think we are very fortunate to live in such a great country. Why does it seem there are so many people out there critizing this nation. If they don't like it they should leave.

1) Officials won't act aggressively against an institution they're claiming puts American lives at risk, because it's politically untenable. That would mean the administration is putting politics ahead of aggressively prosecuting behavior it says endangers American lives.

2) The administration doesn't genuinely believe The Times has put our national security at risk at all, and hence won't act. If this is the case, both Snow and Cheney blatantly and repeatedly lied.

Which is it ? Did they endanger the American public and if so why aren't charges pending ? Is this just more deflection on the part of the White House to wipe more mud off it's shoes ? If they really believe these accusations are true shouldn't they follow up on them ? Seriously ?
