I can't answer for all anti-Bush people but I know that I truly don't agree with his "strategies" or "beliefs". First of all, Bush claims to be a Christian and, as a Christian myself, I can tell you that one of the ten commandments is "Do Not Kill". It is an unnecessary murderfest we are creating in Iraq and it is wrong! I also don't believe he is an honest man and is a money-monger. Not because of what the media tells me, solely, but because of his past "workings" and "dealings" and his own words. I am VERY anti-Bush on my own grounds and own beliefs.

The answer IMHO is Bush hasn't really commited any 'atrocities'. While there may be some things he's done that weren't by the numbers legal, I believe the things he's done were what he felt were necessary at the time with the information he had at the moment.
And those who are so adamant he's commited 'atrocities' and 'crimes against humanity' never liked him because he's a Republican. And all 'good' Democrats know Republican are the scum of the earth and as such should be shot on sight. Kinda like northerners when I was growing up in the south. I was probably ten before I realized Damn Yankee was two words. I remember my grandmother saying President Roosevelt was a good man. Too bad he was a damn yankee.
I don't agree with how he's handled Iraq. But I'm not in position to know if what I'd have done differently would have changed things much. What I have observed with present day liberal Democrats is they are never wrong(in their minds at least) and don't even consider the possibility they could be wrong.
Me I don't think Democrats are always right and Republicans are always wrong. I think both sides are wrong more than they are right. But who am I and what do I know.

BUSH IGNORES LAWS HE SIGNS, VEXING CONGRESS
Associated Press Writer
Tue Jun 27, 2:25 PM ET
WASHINGTON - The White House on Tuesday defended President Bush's frequent use of special statements that claim authority to limit the effects of bills he signs.
Senators weren't so sure.
"It's a challenge to the plain language of the Constitution," said Arlen Specter, a REPUBLICAN whose Senate Judiciary Committee opened hearings on the issue. "There is a sense that the president has taken signing statements far beyond the customary purview."

I am Pro-Bush myself, no I do not agree with everything he has done but I am pleased to see a message from someone who is neutral about him.
1st of all Bush is not Guilty of any Atrocities, granted ok yes some rogues in the Military did commit some crimes which Bush and Rumsfeld were unaware of till stories about it leaked to Media Outlets that wanted to claim the whole Military was commiting crimes when in reality most of the Military did not commit crimes.
The rogues in the Military who did in fact commit crimes are in serious trouble, some have been Court Martialed and stripped of Rank for raping Prisoners (Rape is a No No in the Military, anyone in the Military caught commiting Rape will be Dishonored and Disgraced for it).
Bush and Rumsfeld had no idea about the Isolated incidents cause the Higher ups cannot be expected to know everything but both were Major Upset when they found out about it (they had a right to be upset).
The only Torture we were suppose to use if any was making Terrorist POWs listen to Heavy Metal Music to drive them nuts till they were willing to talk (doing such does work and it's a lot better than Physical Torture, well I do love to listen to Heavy Metal myself but im sure a lot of POWs didn't).
With me it's one thing if someone doesn't like George W. Bush, I mean ok I don't agree with everything he has done but when you weight out what I agree with and what I disagree with my agreements outweight my disagreements.
I think what is really up is Anti-Bush people have devoted themselves to how much they hate Bush so to a point that in addition to not looking at any good things he has done they don't even wanna think about how to make America better cause all that energy wasted on hating Bush could be used instead to think of what to do for America.
It's kinda like up in Canada some of the Liberals were too busy being Anti-American to even think about what was best for Canada and as a result even Anti-Bush/Anti-War Canadians voted Conservative knowing full well that the Canadian Conservative Party are allies with the American Republican Party.
Why would even an Anti-Bush Canadian vote Conservative instead of Liberal up in Canada? well such persons wanted to vote for someone who showed they have a plan.
Likewise here in America the ones who have a best chance at winning are those who actually are gonna develop a plan and at least the Republicans are doing so (which is why the Democrats failed to regain Congress under Bush).

Some so-called liberals are just following a trend. There are many more informed ones, though, that dislike GWB as a president because... he's not a very good one. I, fortunately, am in the latter category. Katrina was the final, deciding point.

Sometimes I wonder. They didn't seem to have a problem with Saddam torturing, raping, and murdering hundreds of thousands of his own people for the thirty years he was in power.

I don't consider myself hip, I'm just disgusted at the blatant abuse of power and shamelessness of our current administration.
Torture is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Imprisonment without cause or due process is NOT ACCEPTABLE and UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Wiretapping the conversations of people who are not accused of any crime is ILLEGAL. And let's not even get into the fact that he doesn't seem to think that the law applies to him, or that he seems to think that anyone who doesn't agree with his religious views is unAmerican.

Its mostly for them to fit in. I've tried to have debates with them and they really don't know very much about what they're arguing and why.
