I'm a US citizen married to a Thai citizen.
I was born in USA and moved to Thailand for about 20 years.

I'm 24 years old and planning to study Master's in USA this August.

The problems are
1) I have no money to support my wife yet (But I will have had a domicile in August because the university has accepted me.)
2) My parents have the money to support both me and her, but they live in Thailand. (We moved back to Thailand for 20 years, so my parents are not premanent residences anymore.)

This prevents us from filing the affidavit of support (I-864) which requires a sponsor to have enough money and be a
1) US citizen who has a domicile in USA or
2) Legal permanent residence who has a domicile in USA

My cousin works in a research lab in USA and she can arrange a job interview for my wife.

So if I don't file an I-130 yet, can my wife apply for an employment visa?

Is there any solution to this affidavit problem?

My qeustin is why do U.S Native Americans attempt to distance themselves from Mexicans and Mexican Native Americans?

The answer is still the same, I see no difference in the 2 full blooded Native Americans from Mexico and the U.S, with the Mexicans Mestizos carrying half of the bloodline.

Both groups lifestyles were practically identical with the exeption of some Mexican Native Americans building pyramids. Look at their ceremonial clothing and the things they traded, the foods they ate.

look at this link and tell me otherwise, and tell the Apaches or Navajos and Yaquis that they are Mexican or American, you cant because they were the Native Americans from Mexico and the U.S, and their neighboors to the south and north were no diffrent from them.

Ilegals are going to get these benefits in Baltimore?
just saw this on Fox News in Baltimore:
Tonight in Annapolis, demonstrators are expected to show their support for a bill that would allow illegal immigrants to pay in-state tuition at Maryland colleges. But, there's another bill under consideration that would prohibit illegal immigrants from getting a drivers license in the state

Will there be more traffic accidents if we give the illegal license? Do you think it's fair to give these benefits to the illegals

Which candidate running do you think will deal with the immigration issue in the way you deem as necessary? Please state what your stance is on illegal immigration & how the candidate you've chosen (from what you know of him/her) will cater to your viewpoint.

If none of them do then please feel free to both vent your frustration here & suggest politicians who aren't running (or haven't declared yet) that you think would deal with the issue.

My husband and I just filed an I-130 for his mother in Honduras (he is a naturalized citizen). We tried going to the local USCIS office for help but they knew less than us. Does anyone know how it works? We don't want to file for the I-485 yet, she just wants to come visit for now (we may file that later). Will the I-130 allow her to come visit for a couple months on the visa they give her? And will we have to file the I-864 form for her to come visit? We have a hard time getting a straight, clear answer on how all this works. We have read all we can on the Internet, gone in person to the local office, and even tried calling the national office.
Any information would be helpful! THANKS!

Yet questions like - Doesn t everyone shouting against immigrants realize that their ancestors were immigrants too?Should schools put flags of all countries in the classroom to appease immigrants.....?Anyone one notice that black people don t get much respect in this forum? But to indicate immirgartion raids I find yahoo blocks this question. Even though Yahoo finds it important enough to list as headline news. If Yahoo does't not want us to discuss the news they see fit to print why punishes people from using Yahoo news to answer questions using Yahoo own words only to see yahoo in saying it's is not a question or answer. Same rules to should appy to Yahoo. Not news or a news story
