Yet questions like - Doesn t everyone shouting against immigrants realize that their ancestors were immigrants too?Should schools put flags of all countries in the classroom to appease immigrants.....?Anyone one notice that black people don t get much respect in this forum? But to indicate immirgartion raids I find yahoo blocks this question. Even though Yahoo finds it important enough to list as headline news. If Yahoo does't not want us to discuss the news they see fit to print why punishes people from using Yahoo news to answer questions using Yahoo own words only to see yahoo in saying it's is not a question or answer. Same rules to should appy to Yahoo. Not news or a news story

There is nothing wrong with asking about raids rounding up illegals that have/will go on. Considering the mood of the citizens of the United States, I would be shocked if such wasn't a topic.
Your problem more than likely is that you are not 'asking a question' but more using it as a platform to support that comment. When you see such - turn it in as it is against Yahoo policy.
As to your comments about blacks? I haven't seen any posting about blacks within this area. I have seen several blacks posting on the topic of this area - but nothing directed towards blacks. I don't read every question - so possible that I could miss such a posting.
Bottom line is that the bandwidth belongs to Yahoo. To use it, one has to be within the guidelines set. If you think that there is an abuse - trust me - others will see such and will find other areas to go to. Yahoo is not going to be in favor of that since they make money because we have to view the ads when browsing within the area. So If you have such a concern - write to them and ask them about it. Give them clear examples of what you find offensive and how it compares to the stated guidelines. If that doesn't help - find another place to go on the internet. If enough people feel that way - Yahoo will listen. I don't believe that they want to lose one person at all within this area.

First of all lets look at Illegal Immigration as compared to legal immigration. You try and lump them together as if they were the same thing. Well, they are not!
My forefathers immigrated here from France and England by emigrating legally and it took years for them to complete the process and become naturalized citizens. You think that some one who came here on foot, crossed the border and took up residence is the same. You are wrong.
Immigration raids are conducted randomly to enforce the immigration laws. They only target people who are breaking the law. Why does that keep getting lost in the rhetoric?
America is made of immigrants and the ones that came here legally are assimilated and are the biggest asset we have. The ones that came here illegally and refuse to assimilate are the biggest problem we have. You cannot lump them together.
I have noticed that in an open forum there are lots of people who do not get their fair share of respect. Fact of life.
Yahoo has their rules and tries to make them fair and enforce them. Are they perfect, no. ,But who said it was easy to get respect?

I had two answers and a question deleted when I logged on today. I am not sure it is Yahoo, though. I think they don't check every report. They just delete.

There is nothing racist about the Yahoo policy. It doesn't say you can't ask a certain question. They system just wants you to be careful with the WAY you ask. Be as nice about the question as you can. YOU CAN'T BE INSULTING TO ANY RACE!!!!
Keep in mind: The men who started Yahoo & own it to this day are white males.

I asked a question about raids. I got one dumb answer and one OK answer.
Personally I think they should happen every single day. They are proper and not-"mean spirited."
I know I am opening myself up to a pro-illegal alien criminal that will feel I am being insulting or racist - even though I'm not!
