If this is true I think it's ironic, because the majority if not all of the Latino/Hispanic community OPPOSE illegal immigration and amnesty (save for La Raza,MECHA and all those other pro-illegal groups) and are in favor of secure borders and enforcement of immigration laws. What do you think?

Lately people are getting in my nerves because they keep on posting up questions that sound real racist by saying that we (the mexicans) are taking their money, jobs as if we were aliens planning an invasion attack againts them. I dont understand why their saying that because immigrants actually help the american economy by doing the jobs that all the americans dont want to do. Also they have forgotten that not so long ago their ancestors were immigrants and that this country was founded by immigrants!!!! But o well it is wat it is and i hope that they realize some day that America needs the help of immigrants to keep this country running. And before i finish every one should stop and look at the news because last time i saw they were reporting that there was lots of money being lost because of the crops that are getting spoiled because there is a shortage of Mexicans to work in the fields.

Such as Manzanar after Pearl Harbor when we arrested people of Japanese ancestry, citizens as well as those legally in the US, and put them in camps in the desert for years? Also illegally took their homes and property.----I don't know if they ever got resitution.

I am here to steal your social services away from you. Including, but not limited to welfare, WIC, Medicare, foodstamps, section 8, and the canned food you donated to the church. When I am not stealing your benies, I am stealing your identity so I can steal your jobs. I have two right now, but I plan on stealing a third.

I want to destroy your middle class and make sure that your kids come out even stupider than yourself out of school. I will steal your kids education and I will sell them drugs to make them even more stupid. I will exchange their books for drugs and put them on the corner to sell their bodies when they run out of books and money, then when they become bums without their front teeth, I will laugh at them.

After that I will tell more people from Mexico to enter illegally and take our land back. We will name it the United States of Aztlan, or just the good ole USA for short.

What do you think of my plan?

Why doesn't the U.S. open their borders like Mexico opens ours to our neighbors to the south?? They can learn a lot from us!!!!
Why do Americans only hate Mexican aliens??
100% of the illegal aliens in the U.S. are hard workers, they all pay their taxes, no one steals IDs or social security #s. None of them work "under the table". None of them break any laws!!!!!!
There are no criminals, or drugs, or people with diseases coming into the U.S. through the southern border, only hard working people that want to support their families!!!!
Almost all white people use drugs, and it's their fault that there are drugs in the U.S. because of them!!!!!
Mexicans illegal aliens are perfect!!!!!!!

You call us "third-worlders" but when we try to get rid of that title by controlling OUR own industries in OUR countries, your government criminals have to intervene. All of you should thank your government for being so good at exploiting weaker countries to your advantage.

I think all of you should do some research before you say you are being invaded. There are over fifty RECOGNIZED United States' interventions in Latin American industries, all of this done just so YOU can be living an ultra-high standard of life. The imperialistic view your government has taken on Latin America and other countries has drained those countries' economies and imported them into the U.S. How then do you even DEAR to say you feel invaded, when you not only exploit "third world" countries, but also invade ones with different ideologies like Iraq and Afghanistan?

Why are people so upset about the illegal immigration crack down? When something is ILLEGAL, which calling someone an "illegal immigrant" does lead one to believe that they are in this country illegally, then why should they have any rights? They did not respect our countries laws and entered improperly, so why should we not deport them?

When other things are illegal, such as stealing, etc. people are forced to face the consequences of their actions, why shouldn't illegal immigrants be?

If they don't like the laws, then why not try to change them BEFORE acting illegally?

Foreigners hear about the american dream and set out for the U.S. in hopes of achieving that dream. While most of americans struggle to make ends meat, foreigners seem to make it big here. Many people from the Middle East, such as Pakistan and India have no problem getting help with starting a business, and then end up making thousands if not millions of dollars in the U.S.

Recently the Immigration & Customs Enforcement rounded up over 700 illegal aliens (over 400 of which are convicted felons) and deported them. Most of the people were Mexican nationals, but there were people from other countries as well.

Do you think this is a positive step in the fight against illegal immigration? Or do you think it's a drop in the bucket and won't actually accomplish anything (because most of those people will just sneak back illegally anyway)?

I was wondering if there were circumstances that would lead to citizenship being revoked. For instance, let's say a person was born in Canada, but now resides in the US, and has dual citizenship. Is there any reason (being convicted of a crime, for instance) that the US would revoke their citizenship, and they would be forced to move back to Canada?

Water bottles. Sleeping bags. Empty food containers.

It's an unsightly mess left behind at temporary campsites set up by illegal immigrants trekking through Maricopa County's desert areas.

And starting today, about 200 jail inmates will be cleaning it up.

Dubbed "Operation I.C.U.," because the desert requires "intensive care," Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said the desert trash pickup is a new phase in his fight against illegal immigration and an effort to improve the environment at the same time. The "Illegal Alien Campsite Clean Up" will occur monthly.

"These people are coming here illegally. They're breaking the law, and they're destroying our desert," Arpaio said. "It's disgusting."

Deputies have been coming across campsites and snapping photos of the filth since Arpaio's anti-human-smuggling unit began looking for and arresting illegal immigrants in March. So far, 351 illegal immigrants have been jailed, and Arpaio said their mess needs to be cleaned up.

Deputy Chief Brian Sands estimates there are about 15 large illegal campsites in the western part of the county. They are used as "drop zones" and temporary staging areas for illegal immigrants. The immigrants will stay there anywhere from a couple of hours to several days, until they can be picked up and transported to their destinations. They usually leave in a hurry, dumping blankets and other trash. In some areas, trash piles are knee deep.

"There's all these little campsites over the years that have turned into this big mess," Sands said.

Illegal dumping not only ruins views but threatens the health of people who live or play there; over time, it pollutes the ground and groundwater.

Offenders who dump trash rarely are caught, and cleanups are costly.

Arpaio said his cleanup will cost taxpayers almost nothing. Trash bags and dump trucks have been donated, and inmate labor is free. Of the 200 convicted inmates who will take part today, 10 are foreign nationals from Mexico, Arpaio said. The inmates will get an extra bologna sandwich for their work.

Today's cleanup will take place in a desert south of Lake Pleasant. Deputies will be on hand to arrest any illegal immigrants in the area. Anyone caught dumping trash also will be arrested, Arpaio said.

But cleaning up the desert has another benefit: intelligence. Deputies will sift through the trash, looking for clues that could help curtail illegal immigration even more.

"We can look at these locations and tell a lot about the trash they leave," Sands said. "Our investigators don't have the time to sort through all this stuff. This gives us a chance to take a closer look."

Deputies will try to determine from the trash if other foreigners are being smuggled through Arizona. Any maps could provide a better indication of smuggling routes.

"I want to pick up some intelligence," Arpaio said, "but my main mission is to save the desert.

"We're going to get this cleaned up."

Sheriff Joe Arpaio (in Arizona) who created the "tent city jail":

He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them.

He stopped smoking and porno magazines in the jails. Took away their weights. Cut off all but "G" movies.

He started chain gangs so the inmates could do free work on county and city projects.

Then he started chain gangs for women so he wouldn't get sued for discrimination.

He took away cable TV until he found out there was a federal court order that required cable TV for jails. So he hooked up the cable TV again only let in the Disney channel and the weather channel.

When asked why the weather channel he replied, so they will know how hot it's gonna be while they are working on my chain gangs.

He cut off coffee since it has zero nutritional value.

When the inmates complained, he told them, "This isn't the Ritz/Carlton. If you don't like it, don't come back."

He bought Newt Gingrich' lecture series on videotape that he pipes into the jails.

When asked by a reporter if he had any lecture series by a Democrat, he replied that a democratic lecture series might explain why a lot of the inmates were in his jails in the first place.

With temperatures being even hotter than usual in Phoenix (116 degrees just set a new record), the Associated Press reports: About 2,000 inmates living in a barbed-wire-surrounded tent encampment at the Maricopa County Jail have been given permission to strip down to their government-issued pink boxer shorts.

On Wednesday, hundreds of men wearing boxers were either curled up on their bunk beds or chatted in the tents, which reached 138 degrees inside the week before.

Many were also swathed in wet, pink towels as sweat collected on their chests and dripped down to their pink socks.

"It feels like we are in a furnace," said James Zanzot, an inmate who has lived in the tents for 1 year. "It's inhumane."

Joe Arpaio, the tough-guy sheriff who created the tent city and long ago started making his prisoners wear pink, and eat bologna sandwiches, is not one bit sympathetic He said Wednesday that he told all of the inmates: "It's 120 degrees in Iraq and our soldiers are living in tents too, and they have to wear full battle gear, but they didn't commit any crimes, so shut your damned mouths!"

*****

Way to go, Sheriff! Maybe if all prisons were like this one there would be a lot less crime and/or repeat offenders. Criminals should be punished for their crimes - not live in luxury until it's time for their parole, only to go out and commit another crime so they can get back in to live on taxpayers money and enjoy things taxpayers can't afford to have for themselves.

“The inmates will get an extra bologna sandwich for their work.”

Why be so generous?

Send Sheriff Joe a hand writen card, you know one of thoes cards that says, "Thank You For Being You".
