Why are people so upset about the illegal immigration crack down? When something is ILLEGAL, which calling someone an "illegal immigrant" does lead one to believe that they are in this country illegally, then why should they have any rights? They did not respect our countries laws and entered improperly, so why should we not deport them?

When other things are illegal, such as stealing, etc. people are forced to face the consequences of their actions, why shouldn't illegal immigrants be?

If they don't like the laws, then why not try to change them BEFORE acting illegally?

This is just the tip of the iceberg.
The study estimates that households headed by illegal aliens used $10 billion more in government services than they paid in taxes in 2002. These figures are only for the federal government; costs at the state and local level are also likely to be significant. The study also finds that if illegals were given amnesty, the fiscal deficit at the federal level would grow by nearly $29 billion.

You and I commit the crime we do the time. Illegals post bail, steal a new identity and move down the road..just that simple. They are above the law and they know it and rub our noses in it.
They fly our flag upside down and post bumper stickers on their uninsured automobiles that read, for all to see, you can't send up back.

To answer poster who says amnesty would cause a deficit in fed funds- she is ONLY correct because the money NOT CLAIMED in taxes by these illegal workers goes into the goverment's pocket &t doesn't get paid out in April with a REFUND CHECK!

They are angry because they got caught doing something they shouldn't be doing, and someone is trying to discipline them. They believe they have a right to everything we have. The thing is, they have the right to earn anything they can, but they do not have a right to what I have already earned.
