"you know why. and its not the first time that you pretend you don't know. what a pretense, lots of people are on to you."

Has this individual considered that yes, I have asked similar questions in the past but, to date, no one has ever given me a reasonable explanation for all this hostility? Why can't people discuss issues in a mature fashion? Why does an individual (above answer) need to answer a question in a demeaning manner?

They just obtain thier wealth through osmosis. Maybe a sepeate lane in all interstate highways? I know how rush hour traffic can be a *****..not to mention against your human rights

'Amnesty' dead, Fox tells Mexicans
Says Bush told him no chance for legislation this year

World Net Daily | July 21 2006

Mexican President Vicente Fox told radio listeners in his country that the idea of an amnesty for illegal aliens in the U.S. is dead – at least for a time.

Fox said President Bush advised him of the political realities of passing his "comprehensive immigration reform plan" this year during a flight from St. Petersburg, Russia, to Madrid, Spain. Congress will shortly be adjourning until the November election.

Fox said Bush "pointed out that this period is very short, there are only two or three weeks before Congress members go on the election campaign. So the chance of the immigration issue reaching approval in the House of Representatives and reaching join approval isn't very high."

A White House spokesman acknowledged Bush made the comment to Fox, but said that doesn't mean the president won't be back promoting his immigration plan before the end of the year.

People are dying to get into this country. Cemetaries have fences, why dont we?

June 16, 2006 -- Another illegal immigrant dies in the blistering sun crossing into the U.S. topping the number of deaths this month alone in the New Mexico desert.

We have 8 deaths and then I just got a report earlier that they found another one over there toward Las Cruces and Dona Ana," said Columbus Police Chief Paul Armijo.

Chief Armijo says illegal immigrant deaths are a daily occurrence and compared to last summer this year the numbers are spiking. Last year the entire summer months the total number of immigrant deaths reached nine. This year they have nine in a matter of weeks.

The most recent discovery made early Friday morning along mile marker 95 near highway 9 near Columbus. Border Patrol agents in the area encountered the female body about 300 yards South of the roadway.

New Mexico State Police believe the body had been out in the desert anywhere from three to five days because it was beginning to decompose.

Generally if there's a weak member of the group or if someone begins to suffer from heat exhaustion or exposure or has a significant injury, generally they are left where they are at," said Lieutenant Rich Libcer with New Mexico State Police.

Officers in the area expect the deaths to rise because of an influx of illegal immigrants crossing into the U.S. hoping to fall under the president's plan for temporary work status. Despite National Guard presence along the border, Chief Armijo says it's not deterring immigrants from putting their lives in danger

This is what some Americans are doing.
A southwest Idaho county filed a racketeering lawsuit against agricultural companies accused of hiring illegal immigrants - an attempt to recoup money the county says it has spent on the workers.

The lawsuit by Canyon County commissioners alleges four agricultural companies and a nonprofit have taken part in an "illegal immigrant hiring scheme," and that the county has paid the cost of medical care, jails and schools.

The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court on Wednesday claims the companies violated the federal Racketeering and Corrupt Organizations Act, which allows winning plaintiffs to receive triple damages...

've seen Katie Couric swoon and giggle far too many times from her "Today" show perch. That was her charge, or at least it was byproduct of what she, hands down, can be commended for doing: being our morning sweetie and connecting with viewers in a way that stroked the egos of the execs at NBC. "Today," according to The Associated Press, hasn't lost a week in the ratings for more than 10 years. All bow now to Katie.

Couric's jauntiness comes across as authentic enough. And that's probably why so many people like her. She seems friendly and open and as she shared her own stories, especially the death of her husband to colorectal cancer, you had to appreciate her.

But the nightly news isn't banter from your girlfriend. It's serious, sometimes dour stuff. Peter Jennings, Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw, even Walter Cronkite — we've become accustomed to their pace. That straight, baritone, I'm-not-screwing-around delivery. They were the men who escorted us to the grimmest of events: war, then back, then back to war.

Do we really want someone who chirps and skips?

I mean, does Katie Couric anchoring CBS' "Evening News" mean we'll have more featurettes on hunky country singers — "eye"-quotient stuff — between morsels of Iraq and immigration?

I, like a good many of you, fall into that coveted demographic for advertisers on network newscasts: viewers age 25 to 54 years old.

I'm not one to dismiss any person, regardless of sex, who seeks a challenge (Couric said as much in explaining why she'll leave "Today" next month, where she's been for 15 years, and jumping ship to CBS. Her NBC replacement: Meredith Vieira who co-hosts that gal couchfest, "The View" on ABC. She's also the host of the game show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" )

I also won't ignore the newsworthiness of this story. Couric, 49, is the first woman to be named sole anchor of a network evening newscast. And yes, when women have climbed to the top (in journalism, in athletics, in politics, in the arts), I've applauded and then, as women tend to do when judging other women, I scrutinized them and took it all so personally if they screwed up

Diane Sawyer joined ABC News in February 1989, as co-anchor of Primetime Live. In addition to her Primetime assignment, Sawyer was named co-anchor, with Charles Gibson, of Good Morning America in January 1999.

Since the premiere of Primetime in August 1989, Sawyer has traveled extensively across the United States and abroad to report on and investigate a wide range of topics and to interview a diverse group of newsmakers and personalities.

Sawyer reported live from Ground Zero during the week of Sept. 11 and interviewed over 60 widows who gave birth after the World Trade Center disaster. She recently returned to Afghanistan to reunite the women profiled in her landmark 1996 report from behind the burqua, as one of the first Western journalists to expose the plight of women under Taliban rule. She also presented a groundbreaking two-hour special on gay adoption and the foster care system, featuring Rosie O'Donnell's personal story as a gay parent.

Her interviews include President Geo

Starting in Romans chapter 13 verse 1>

1. Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
2. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
3. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you.

The man on the street...

Council Tax - Rising to cover the cost of immigrants that come here to undercut the indigenous brits. The only reason they can undercut us is because they are willing to live 5 in a room.

Positive Discrimination - Enabling non-indigenous to get above the indiginous population in housing/policing etc...

Employment Quotas - Indigenous population get jobs through achievement, others get a job to fill the minority quotas based on their skin color.

Blowing up/Maiming - Not content with the above perks of being an immigrant certain people want more and believe that blowing up innocent civilians is the best way to do this. This group also plays the victim of society and receives special attention from the government at the expense of the victims and indigenous folk.

Immunity from negative publicity - As soon as anything negative is mentioned, the old 'race/religion' card comes out.
