What benefits do immigrants bring to the indiginous population?

Council Tax - Rising to cover the cost of immigrants that come here to undercut the indigenous brits. The only reason they can undercut us is because they are willing to live 5 in a room.

Positive Discrimination - Enabling non-indigenous to get above the indiginous population in housing/policing etc...

Employment Quotas - Indigenous population get jobs through achievement, others get a job to fill the minority quotas based on their skin color.

Blowing up/Maiming - Not content with the above perks of being an immigrant certain people want more and believe that blowing up innocent civilians is the best way to do this. This group also plays the victim of society and receives special attention from the government at the expense of the victims and indigenous folk.

Immunity from negative publicity - As soon as anything negative is mentioned, the old 'race/religion' card comes out.

It looks as if you want the United Kingdom to withraw from the European Union. Under EU law, every citizen of an EU/EEA/Swiss country has the right to come to the UK to work.

There are also various treaties granting some rights to migrate and work, usually professionals and businesspeople: friendship, commerce and navigation treaties mostly.

Unfortunately for you, whatever your agenda the UK can't withdraw from the EU. There is no provision for doing so, and won't be until and unless the EU Constitution is ratified by all 25 member states. The Constitution will for the first time provide for withdrawal.

For the rest, immigration is 90% family reunification. There is not an absolute right under the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms to bring a spouse or child into the country, but it's pretty hard to see how they can be kept out. See the Human Rights Act 1998.

The educated ones can bring benefits - the doctors etc.

I have studied Classical Indian Dance with a teacher who was an immigrant from India. I was glad of that opportunity.

But the 100,000s of people flooding here to take low paid jobs just screw the country up. There are enough unemployed Brits who could do these jobs, we do not need to be importing people from abroad, its utter shite to say all unemployed people don't want to work. Or that native British are too "proud" to work in MaccyD's, pubs, as cleaners, van drivers etc. I'm native British and have done this work when I needed to and I have a university degree!!!!

Plus a lot of the Muslims claim they do not like living here because we are all immoral "Kafhirs" etc and they want to live under Sharia law. In that case they should **** off and go somewhere else.

OMG what the HELL are you babbling about?? When the hell were Indians FORCED to come to the UK or "Made" to stay here?!? You have your facts completely wrong!!!!!!!

They were invited here after the war as we had full employment and there were at that time jobs that natives didn't want. that is no longer the case. Immigrants are free to go back to their country of origin anytime they want! They just don't want to.

You are either very young and ill-informed or have been smoking something very dodgy indeed!!!!

They only do some jobs that some people don't want to do.
But it's not USA responsibilities to take care of them when they came over here. I mean if there not getting a job in there country it's not the USA fault it's there government fault, there always blaming the USA and complaining. No wonder some of them bring drugs over here. They even try to have kids here so they are able to stay here, pathetic.

They have to come here llegal like others that came here llegal that had to do a lot of paper work and took years for them to be able to come here. I think they should do the same, and to stop complaining.

PS with regards Mr Curious's point (forced military service) it is absolute bunkum, Indians (and many other colonials) were paid half the wages of their British counterparts to join the armed forces (a KING'S ransom in their own countries), and only in absolute extreme-extreme circumstances would they ever leave local regiment, let alone leave their own shores (has anyone ever heard of the Queens Indian home guard ?). And even if it was the case , when was the last time anybody met a Nepalese immigrant ??????

Immigrants have helped this country become what it is today. One of the richest countries in the world. The first ethnic minorities that came to the UK were Indian and Caribbean people. The Indians were forced to come into the UK during the British Empire as they were a colony of the UK. They had to fight during World War 1 and 2. After the war, they wanted to return to their country of Origin, but were denied by the British Government as a lot of soldiers died and they needed to rebuilt Britain. As time went on, they lost their country of origin nationality, and therefore had to stay in the UK. Remember, the British invaded a 1/4 of the world, and when they colonised a country, being born in the colony e.g. India would automatically make you a British subject, and as a British subject, you were forced into the military. That is why there are so many asians in Britain. Most of the Indians that were forced during British ruling into Britain were muslims. So we cant say, "We didn't invite you here". We forced them here. King George VI even said, "if it wasn't for the muslims, the British isles would no longer be democratic" But I do agree that we have an Asylum problem in this country. Remember, the media controls the minds of people, and likes to blame things on others. Its the governments fault. Are they not the ones that control this country?? What this country needs is a new immigration system, and a better government. My fellow Britons, please DONT BECOME RACIST.....

I really can think of no benefits they bring here. A very few with medical degrees and such are contributing in a way, but I still think they are taking jobs from other would be indigenous doctors.

I keep reading that they will work for cheap labour, there is a difference between cheap labour(which they get paid well at) and menial jobs which is what they do. But before they got into lawn care and such does anybody not think it was never done. They just started underbidding and it started looking like nobody else would do it.

You have forgotton the following:
1. Newer ways of defrauding the system.
2. Increasing frauds of all kinds in banking, identity fraud, illegal migration rackets, storage and sponsoring of illegal activities like terrorism in the name of so called religions.
3. Increase of converting the locals into their so called superior religion then using those locals to commit more crimes.
4. Stealing legitmate jobs belonging toi locals
5. Increase by governments in policing procedures creating fear in the community
6. Using public funds to please "migrant oppressed peoples" so called oppressed in the uk to please their communities in favouring them with jobs, community centres, etc...and then realising after 15 years that the whole integration thing was fullof shite!
7. Finding newer ways to create terrorist cells in the host country and rejecting the ways of living of the locals.
* Finally i strongly believe that MP's and government officials are all involved in this as they too must be making alot of money.AND its all about money to white politicians and to the other migrant population is about converting the white person to a lame, obeying dog.
