Starting in Romans chapter 13 verse 1>

1. Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
2. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
3. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you.

It just shows how rebelous against God you people are.I would have more respect for you if you were athiests and stuck with what you believed in.But here I am showing perfectly plain scripture verses exposing the sin of people that disobey the law and all of you whine and complain .iF YOU CANT HANDLE WHAT GOD SAYS, THEN YOUR NOT REALLY A CHRISTIAN AND SHOULD STOP CLAIMING TO BE ONE.

Are you for real? It's easy to pick bits out of the Bible, especially the Old Testament, and twist them to say what you always believed in. You think God established our governing authorities? Then God help us! It might come as a shock to you but these verses also apply to Christians - not just illegal immigrants and those seeking refuge from persecution (once known as political refugees). A little more true Christian belief might not go amiss. Remember the parable of the good Samaritan.

If you want to live your life based on the scriptures that's a choice you've made and you are fee to do so. More power to you. Just remember that the vast majority of people in the world do not believe as you do and the vast majority of them are not atheists. Be that as it may immigration is a secular issue. I know you probably think that is a dirty word but that's the way it is.
By the way the majority of illegal immigrants who come here are Hispanic and most Hispanics are Christian.
UPDATE: Our leader has said he wants comprehensive immigration reform, including a path to legal status. If you are against that aren't you violating scripture?

If so, then Americans are all criminals, atheists and enemies of God, because they rebelled against the British Authority (established by God) 200 yrs ago...

See man, I respect all beliefs and religions. Is it too much to ask the same to Christian fundamentalists???

Perhaps Mr. Too Sexy could take into account the existence of other religions. And maybe one day he'll understand that if people come to America it is because they are poor. And they are poor because bloody capitalist companies make money on them like Nike in Pakistan so you can buy stuff cheaper. So if you're really an upright man, buy your vietnamese shoes, your malaysian computer and your pakistani cotton at a fair price. Then you'll open your ignorant mouth.

Well, since you want to bring the bible into this...the bible also speaks to love of humanity. I looked at your posts, and on many occasions you have lashed out and bashed because you justify your hatred of the lawbreakers. It's your vengeance speaking for you. You don't respond with a political stand, your responses are personalized.

With that said, doesn't your bible also say, "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord..." So, who appointed you god, judge and jury?

I am pro amnesty and what about 'love thy neighbor as they self'? That is only the second greatest commandment....

What about Jesus, he came for the poor, the prostitutes, the sinners, the diseased, where is your compassion? What about the good Samaritan?

Man's laws are not God's laws, once upon time slavery was legal in this country....Don't bring the Bible into this debate, it only makes you look ignorant....

And so, why you redneck Bible believers don't submit to the authorities in other countries and send your felons in dressed in fatigues to kill and plunder? If "rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong" why your authorities show contempt for the authorities of other countries and punish those who fight for democracy, especially in Latin America?
