Now, I don't like agreeing with Conspiracy Therost

But the ONLY reason I can think of is the conspiracy for the elites to stay in power.

Please, what is the rational explanation for this twisted system.

The majority vote doesn't even matter so long as the delegates can chose whoever they want, and why doesn't every state have there primary on the same day, why should a handful of states determine what the rest of the country should vote on.

This just makes no sense

Personally I say no. The government controlls the political progress and has for the last 25 years, and has allowed the reformers to make just enough progress to content them and then take that back and start the process over again and a multitude of other reasons. What say you?

"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives a moderate exercise to the Body, it gives boldness, enterprise, and independence to the mind . . . Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks."
--Thomas Jefferson, Letter to his nephew Peter Carr, August 19, 1785.

How can they ban a commercial asking people to remember the troops on the holidays?!?!

And before you Libs write about how they are a private company and can do whatever they want, we know that, we are just asking people to exercise their own right to do the same thing.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. homeowners who could face crippling mortgage payments will have a hard time getting help if they call a telephone number President George W. Bush recommended on Thursday -- he gave them the wrong number.

Does anyone remember when a White House Official gave the wrong website on live TV. He said whitehouse.com instead of whitehouse.gov

Whitehouse.com is a porn site.

I was online that day and went to the .com website, within minutes it was beseiged with visits and went into overload and was not accesible.

On live TV (I was watching CNN) they made the announcement and apologized shortly after.

Does Bush's error surprise you?

Accountability (includes: Fiscal responsibility, transparency, openness, truth, responsibility for one's own actions, etc...)

Universal Healthcare (frightening concept for them)

Domestic priorities (education, children's healthcare, jobs (and I'm talking about REAL jobs here people; not the ones that are bare minimum-wage and can't keep up with the high cost of living), sound energy policies, our environment, global warming, and natural disaster preparedness. (Katrina ring a bell?) )

Providing for the elderly, the disabled, the poor. (Yeah, I know: The last one's gotta be a real b*tch to deal with, huh?)

Dealing with reality ("Iraq's a threat to our national security!" and... : "If you're interested in preventing World War 3...?")

Following federal and international laws (Yes, we know: The CIA and all the spy agencies are excluded from this requirement; as are our intelligence apparats.)

Following the Constitution

Smaller government

Balanced budgets

Please bear in mind that congress has the obligation to keep the president in line or get impeachments going. These are the same senators that want to run the country. Do nothings want the most important job in the USA.......

Our local radio station announced this morning, “NY is to be the first state to have a universal heath care plan that will cover everyone and current tax payers will experience the largest tax increase in American history to pay for it.”

Does this reek “Whitewater” to anyone else? Families that have owned land for generations will be heavily taxed, possibly loosing their “prime farmland” because of unaffordable taxes, unlikely anyone will want to buy it for its value and some will foreclose- and low and behold, large political donors will be able to buy prime farmland cheap to set up companies that will not have to pay for employees health benefits (the only state in the USA). And who comes out looking like peach until its affects become apparent? And who will all fingers point to when this happens to protect the creator of this scam?

Eight more innocent Americans have been sacrificed on the altar of political correctness at Omaha's Westroads Mall this week. The real outrage of this crime is that it happened in a "gun free zone" where law-abiding private citizens are disarmed by mall rules and state statute. In the wake of this horrible crime, gun control extremists are already demanding more useless gun control legislation. A prohibition on firearms at Westroads Mall did not stop Robert Hawkins, but it did give him a risk-free environment in which to unleash his rampage. The common link between virtually every mass shooting in recent history in this country is that they all happened in so-called "gun-free zones" such as shopping malls and college campuses. What happened at the Westroads Mall can happen anywhere that political hysteria results in victim disarmament. Blaming firearms for this crime is like blaming cars for drunk driving. The argument doesn't wash. Published reports all suggest that Hawkins was troubled and had emotional problems, and he reportedly had a felony drug conviction on his record which prohibited him from owning firearms. This proves that restrictive gun laws do not prevent determined perpetrators from getting their hands on guns, but they do prevent law-abiding citizens from having the tools to defend themselves. Remember that a similar shooting at Salt Lake City's Trolley Square earlier this year was interrupted by an armed, off-duty police officer from another city. In essence, that man was an armed private citizen. In Tacoma, Washington two years ago, an armed citizen confronted a gunman at the Tacoma Mall and although he was seriously wounded, his intervention brought the shooting to a halt. Gun owners, the gun industry, nor our constitutionally-protected individual right to keep and bear arms are at fault for the Westroads outrage and the gun control lobby knows it. Restrictive laws that disarm honest citizens and provide risk-free environments for criminals and lunatics are at fault, and so are the people responsible for passing such laws and enforcing such prohibitions.

Porter Goss former CIA director was the fraternity brother of George W. Bush's uncle. Goss was nominated by Bush to serve as the Director of the CIA. The nomination of Bush's family buddy was challenged by many key democrats however Goss got the job. During Goss's reign he sent controversial memo's to the CIA staff indicating that they needed to "support the administration and it's policies in our work". The CIA is supposed to be unbiased as to political affiliation to give true intelligence reports that do not support the accusations of one party. It was under his leadership that the interrogation tapes were destroyed. Now, Bush does not "recall" knowing his buddy did this. What do you think?
