Our local radio station announced this morning, “NY is to be the first state to have a universal heath care plan that will cover everyone and current tax payers will experience the largest tax increase in American history to pay for it.”

Does this reek “Whitewater” to anyone else? Families that have owned land for generations will be heavily taxed, possibly loosing their “prime farmland” because of unaffordable taxes, unlikely anyone will want to buy it for its value and some will foreclose- and low and behold, large political donors will be able to buy prime farmland cheap to set up companies that will not have to pay for employees health benefits (the only state in the USA). And who comes out looking like peach until its affects become apparent? And who will all fingers point to when this happens to protect the creator of this scam?

Actually I heard about this plan (political devine intervention) from multiple resources including a memo sent to medical billing personnel, and maybe should have stated that as a resource instead of the media.

Yes, your local radio station is the final authority on the details of the plan. Don't listen to what the economists say, base your decision on one line that you heard on the radio.

Healthcare must be provided but without any increase in taxes. Government must not fool the people by giving more benefits but declaring impositions.
