Now, I don't like agreeing with Conspiracy Therost

But the ONLY reason I can think of is the conspiracy for the elites to stay in power.

Please, what is the rational explanation for this twisted system.

The majority vote doesn't even matter so long as the delegates can chose whoever they want, and why doesn't every state have there primary on the same day, why should a handful of states determine what the rest of the country should vote on.

This just makes no sense

Yes, but since 99% of the county is too stupid to vote for a 3rd party candidate, the primaries determine who will be in the general election. Therefore letting the GOP keep the best hope to defeat Hillary and save America out of the race.

I have actually had this exact thought recently... why do the states have their primaries on different dates... they should all be on the same day. The way it is set now, a handful of states literally determine who has a chance and who doesn't.

Anyone that thinks the candidate that loses in Iowa, New Hampshire and SC has a chance is being naive... and I mean that person may have been popular in other states. I am saying it does influence ppl that might vote for a specific person when they see that person lose the first states.

You are definitely confused. Primaries are for parties to pick their candidates. Each state does it their own way. There is nothing wrong with that.
When a candidate wins a state primary, he gets all of the votes from that state on the first ballot at the party convention. If a second ballot is needed, the delegates can then vote for whomever they wish.
It does not matter how a party picks a candidate. What matters is who wins the general election.
