Representation is a wonderful idea... it's the corruption of those representatives that sux.

I was NOT aware that we are being truly represented by our elected officials. I dont remember anyone asking me if people who serve for 2 years in govt could have life long health benefits or if former presidents could have life long secret service protection and more? On a state and local level, MORE waste is occuring on a daily basis. I dont believe I like the "representation" we get.

Sucks.
But at least sometimes we get to vote on how it is used, or at least to vote on who decides how to use it.
Could be worse. Could be better too.
