How is that expensive, futile, "War on Poverty" going and what is the cost in lives?

It's going slow... the only ONE action by Bush that I have agreed with over the past 7 years concerned the way on poverty... he increased humanitarian aid to Africa.

Other than that the most helpful efforts have been from private organizations such as the Gates Foundation.... increased vaccines for the poor.
