Why is it that we get taxed on our hard earned money so much.We get taxed before we get our paychecks and we get taxed when we spend it. If I remember the people that sopossedly founded this country left England because they didn't want to pay a tea tax or stamp tax.That was nothing compared to the kind of taxes we pay today. I pay for social security but it's not even gonna be around in 20 yrs. I get taxed for medical but have none. By the way don't get an earache and go to the emergency room it will cost you around $800.00 dollars. I would have hate to see what they charge you for some serious care. F@*K TAXES.Don't be a slave to the system.Be aware of what is going on in this country and maybe we can change it. Ya right I'll be paying taxes till i die and so will you.

I have to do a research project on the role of government in society/scoope of government/representations today compared to the 1800's. They say its because they suspect these countries of having "weapons of mass destruction" but hang on....America AND Britain have them too.

Or they say "because they are living under a dictatorship"... but there were times when China and Russia were too, but they didnt declare war on them for those reasons.

if we are a democracy, I don't feel we should see one person acting as a dictator, but here we are, Bush over riding the Senate and House, and not representing the will of We the People, and clearly not acting in the system of checks and ballances.

How has this become this way? If he and next presidents are allowed to do this, are we not simply the mirror images of the 'evil' regimes we supposedly went to war to topple and remove?
