Good question. Maybe by letting them knoiw their vote does count would help. Also, they need to understand that if all the people who didn't vote in the last two elections would have, Bush would most likely not have been elected. Now, that is the best reason!

Post a nice message on the community board at work and church. Take the day off from work and offer to take a few folks to the poll, like the elderly and your neighbors.

Some countries make voting obligatory, giving fines to those who don't vote. I wouldn't agree with that, but that is the only way of making people vote if that is what you want to do.

Offer coffee and donuts.
