Remember taxes are a investment in our country.
We will just give you a bill every month for every stop sign, stoplight you pass, bill for police and fire training, water bill without 'We the people" helping and a large millitary bill to protect you so you don`t have to use your gun here, without 'We the People" helping. We can just send you bills without 'We the People" helping to throw in on the pool. Sure would change some votes if you had to pay to vote.

retaliation for Bishopsgate, Canary wharf and Arndale in manchester. Why did John Major secretly negotiate with the IRA instead of 'taking them out' Why didn't john Major destroy Northern Irelands roads bridges and other infrastructures in other to take out the IRA? Why wasnt Dublin levelled into the Bargain ( I can feel some Irish tempers welling up, easy now!) and then level Derry.

They are the underdog. We ( The USA ) are in their country illegally so really the USA is the terrorist. We are powerful and the insurgents are rag tag but they are hurting the USA day in and day out. I believe this is amazing. I will cheer on the insurgents due to them fighting for their country.

The last sixteen American presidents, starting with Woodrow Wilson (elected 1913) have all been Trinitarian Christians (Eisenhower was raised Jehovah's Witness but became Trinitarian during his presidency).

Yet among the first sixteen American presidents, I can find no more than six who could clearly be classified as Trinitarian Christians. The majority of the early presidents were Deists or Unitarians.

My question is this: what happened? How did the upper levels of government in the USA become exclusively Christian - and almost exclusively Protestant?

We do use our taxes for these and other out-of-country expences. Our taxes (your and my money) should be invested for our own benefit and if left over, help the poor around the world. But lets start at home first.

Sorry, but it was HIS office that really failed to respond to Katrina in the first place. So by giving the president power to mobilize the National Guard units will resolve his already proven failure. Gimme a break. He got lucky after 9/11 with the patriotic sentiment, rode that out, got re-elected, and has since proven his worth(lessness) as a national leader. Our economy has faultered, although high gas prices are supposed to improve that. He has our armed forces commited to a country that is no longer under stable leadership (ruthless dictator though he was, how many deaths before we have a worse record than he did?). He's failed to respond well to any other challenge his office as faced. Homeland Security is an expensive way of managing resources that were poorly managed to start with and remain troubled even though they are better funded and staffed. Can it get worse?
