His comparison is ridiculous, Israel always tries to justify its actions but making comparisons to other situations, the circumstances are complete different. A better comparison The IRA were bombing Britain. Did Britain retaliate by obliterating Ireland? No they didn't because that would be disproportionate.

Ouch, that is an interesting comparison. When in doubt, Israel does seem to play the Holocaust card. There is a difference, though, in that a full war had been declared and millions had been killed. Thousands dies in Dresden, but the theory is it saved thousands more lives. That, though, is the maths of the devil.

The problem is, though, that the west has made a moral point of saying it is OK to interefere in another country if that country is promoting terrorism. Now, Lebanon has not done enough to clamp down on terrorism, but it strikes me this is bullying - Israel does not have the guts to go after the big supporters of terrorism being Iran and Syria, so they pick on the little kid.

One of the only games in world where everyone is a loser and no-one is a winner.

America has one primary function in the world we live in today. That job is WAR. the reason is money ! The distorted mind of people like George Bush & family have this twisted mentality that " well.....let's see.....i'm worth 978 gozillion dollars on paper but i can make another 844 billion dollars this year....then i should be okay ".we haven't needed gas powered automobiles for 20 + years but the steele industry needs to build cars and the opec ministries must reach their personal goal of 998 quakazillion dollars to protect their family. the auto workers union can never allow cars to become extinct. after all....how could they collect the multi-billion dollar revenue generated by union member dues. We have never...not for even a day...needed any oil or oil products from the middle east. Florida and the deep waters of the gulf of mexico would produce enough oil for us all and the following ten generations of our families. And then theres Colorado. An oil reserve on the property belonging to the people of the United States of America that has more oil than Kuiwait , Iraq , Saudi Arabia and Yemen....combined ! George Bush and the rest of those bozo's still think that , " whoever has the most toy's at the end ...wins ". And that moron would blow up the planet to have things his way. Naturally it would kill him as well but he wouldn't mind cause it would show the world ?????? which brings me back to your question. The top eight largest countries of the world , and their weapons of war...combined....don't match the sickening total of the weapons produced here and sold directly to countries with any sort of interrior strife. Wonder why ? We've all known the spoiled little kid of our youth. Every wish would be fulfilled and yet it wasn't enough. He would silently search for the necessary ammunition to create a volitile situation. As it brewed...a pre-determined fuse trigger would be thrown in and the terrible aftermath would be his reward. Read the history of these places. If a war had been waged against each other for 500 million years and the only weapon was to throw rocks and the country never faced total distruction but now has lost 29 % of it's population and the infrastructure was lost along with any law and order and the history of this anchient civilation faced extinction. You can bet your *** that people like George Bush , Dick Cheaney , weapons manufactures and the pac's they support are the little spoiled kids on the sidelines....giggling sadistically. The war you mentioned is a bit more serious than that of rock throwing but I , ( if i had the power to do so ) ,would bet the lives of every living man , woman and child on this planet....and win....that this war should not be happening...nor Iraq....nor Korea .....etc. Save the world ....imprision George Bush....stop listening to the main stream media .....vote for " none of the above " ...and sleep well at night in knowing that you have made a difference.

Hezbollah are operating in conjunction with the Lebanese government. At bit like the Toires but not terrorists.

I know that is a ltitle crass but people need to understand that hezbollah are not badies running around the country, they are supported and aided by the Gov, and the people of Lebanon. They are totally to blame for the deaths of civilians and I back Israel in their attacks on these terrorist who continue to attack their people.
