If yes, how could the delegates achieve this?

Whatever one's personal views, it is obvious that a large majority of Labour Party members greatly disapprove of Blair's record, particularly over Iraq and the Lebanon but also in relation to privatisation. How can the Party retain any future credibility with the electorate if it has supported a leader with whom it is in fundamental disagreement?

Serious answers please. Anbody can slag off Blair or indeed any other leading politician.

SOCIAL SECURITY:

Our Senators and Congresswomen do not pay into Social Security and, of course, they do not collect from it.

You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for persons of their rare elevation in society. They felt they should have a special plan for themselves. So, many years ago they voted in their own benefit plan.

In more recent years, no congressperson has felt the need to change it. After all, it is a great plan.

For all practical purposes their plan works like this:

When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die.

Except it may increase from time to time for cost of living adjustments..

For example, Senator Byrd and Congressman White and their wives may expect to draw $7,800,000.00 (that's Seven Million, Eight-Hundred Thousand Dollars), with their wives drawing $275, 000.00 during the last years of their lives.

This is calculated on an average life span for each of those two Dignitaries.

The schools no longer teach about the Constitution being a document that limits the power of government. The government controls the curriculum in the schools and they have replaced Civics with PC garbage about kids having gay parents and how to have a better self image, etc.(both subjects should be left to the parents to educate their kids about).

Is it any wonder the government is trying to control homeschool and private school curriculum too?

I don't want federal money going toward private schools, because then they can control the curriculum. Private schools are about the only place you can learn Civics now days.

Civic ignorance is destroying your freedom, not the Patriot Act!!

I'm in my early twenties and it is of my opinion that we are the laziest, stupidest and worst prepared generation there ever was. During vietnam 90% of colleges were shut down to protests, so at one point, our parents cared before they sold out to money and lifestyle. We would rather watch MTV or pimp out our civics than make the world a better place. We need a revolution.......could we handle a revolution? Why do we suck so bad?
