You should bring your birth certificate, driver's license or if you don't have one a photo id. with (if possible) your place of residence address. I found that they were stricter when I travelled by plane then by car. If you are travelling by plane you may want to call the airline your travelling with. They may be able to give you more info. You may also try the passport office nearest you. Have a safe trip!

The passport law isn't supposed to pass until 2008 ... so your birth certificate and some picture ID would be fine. I recently went over the border with only my birth certificate and I was just fine.
