Can there be a bill that would raise minimum wage without any other issue attached to it, or is that too hard for the government to do? I mean, cmon, one issue addressed as one issue. What it seems to me is that with the inheretance thing attached to it, some revenue will be lost and it will have to be made up some other way, I wonder how. Why can't it just be a minimum wage increase and nothing else, what is the problem, maybe cause it would affect the wealthy and well off employers into paying more, so they find a way to equal that. I don't know, i gotta read more on it. any comments?

If big government is bad then what is the alternative? A greed eating Coca Cola monster damning the rivers and poluting the world.

Nobody likes to be wrong, but too me it seems repulicans will find every reason to prove they are right even when there is factual evidence against them. (about everything!) But Global Warming is so obvious, just look at the record breaking heat wave that happened last week, why do republicans continue to deny to truth?

(A.) Bush runs for president who cannot talk correctly. He has a hard time with words, does not understand a majority of the English language and grammar. He does not know how to handle debuts or communicate with the American people. Does not think clearly about world events or his actions.

(b).He makes as laugh at his underdog qualities and still has the ability to strike a joke or two.

(c). He understands talk is cheap that’s why some people in the world just need their *** kicked so to open their ears. He’s like the father who hits with his belt.

I picked (c).

What did Lebanon do? Why are we sending bombs to Isreal, so they can have their own version of the holocaust? Genocide is wrong and our government is supporting this. At least Lebanon protects their borders.

So they have decided that it is FINALLY time to raise the minimum wage, but at a cost. They want to pass a property inheritance tax exemption. and what that means is that in order for minimum wage workers to get a raise in the minimum wage the government wants to pass legislation that makes it where the top 7500 richest people don't have to pay the inheritance tax. COME ON?!?! does anyone else think this is completly rediculous?!?! What is going on we are being a$$ raped by the government. Here is the link for it http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/07/28/minimumwage.ap/index.html

Why is president bush calling for a sustainable peace? WTF where does he get off telling other countries to stop fighing? He is a fuking hypocrite and he is a loser. And how can the US tell people that they can't have nuclear weapons, but NOOO it's ok for us to posess nuclear weapons. Why are we trying to get israel/palestine to stop fighting? We are in a war of our own and we have no room to talk. I think our whole governmental system is pathetic. It is run by a bunch of monkey's. And for someone to tell me that they look out for our public oppinions please give me a break. The people in office do what THEY want done, not what the people want. I think it is just completly rediculous and I think our government is SINISTER.

the best way to defeat America, would be to join us...........This statement comes from ONE of my favorite quotes of the bible, Jesus says a house cant stand against itself, now he was talking about demons, but i think it applies to everything. Form within a house you can do three thing, first you can destory/corrupt it from the core, second you can remodel/change it, third you can add yourself to the foundation, and make it stronger, those going blindly into it.

And if you look at poilitics this proves it, because its a balance of powers, now i can say something and have the world may agree, those adding to my power, but another person could do the opposite, and lose power, but then by joining me, he can twist my power and bend it to work differently to his advantage......poilitics and religion who knew..

UNITED NATIONS - The U.N. Security Council approved a statement Sunday expressing "extreme shock and distress" over Israel's bombing of civilians in Qana, However, Mr Bush said it was and is a good day. This is the American way.

An Israeli airstrike early Sunday on a three-story building in the south Lebanese village of Qana killed 56 people, 35 of them children, according to Red Cross officials and Lebanese police. Bush said he was so happy.

Information on the deaths , according to President Bush, said the women and children were warned so it is just too bad." I don't care about the killings of the civilians in the present conflict." Bush said. This is war! so be it. Bring it On!!

The final statement called for the council to work without delay to adopt a resolution for a lasting settlement of the crisis.

"The Security Council expresses its extreme shock and distress at the shelling by the Israeli Defense Forces but Bush said he is proud of Israel.

Where did all the "people of conscience" go, when the very same Chicken-Hawks who asked our youth to die in an illegal and immoral war in Iraq, DON'T HAVE EVEN ONE OF THEIR OWN in the same conflict?! I suppose they're all hiding behind their miserable, chicken-sh*t president!!

U. N. General Assembly Resolution 181 - This was the worst political decision of the 20th century. This is at the core of the issue. Over the last 60 years thousands of people have lost their lives on both sides as a result. Trying to get people after the fact, to agree to a resolution on which that did not participate is crazy. You can bomb them forever but they are never going to agree because of the way it was initially done. Wouldnt it just be easier to admit that creating Israel was wrong and move forward?

Given that the supply of oil at current supply usage is not likely to last 30 years and will become a BIG problem way before that and givn the fact that a lot of Muslim states produce oil and a lot of Non Muslim states Really need it.

How long do you think it will be that the "petty squabbles" (not that I deminish the meaning of the suffering and loss of life) will become Real OIL WARS?

Or is it just me who can forsee this in the next 10 years or so.

I can see America giving the Big finger to the rest of the world and the UK following like a lap dog.

Europe is always afraid of "rocking the boat" whenever serious problems arise throughout the world. Even in their own backyard, Europeans are too afraid to do anything.

Yet whenever the U.S. actually takes action, all those weasels can do is criticize. I'm convinced that if Russia or China had invaded Iraq, nobody in Europe would have made a peep.

You guys never learn. Appease, appease, appease, and your countries will get steam-rolled over again just like in WWII.
