And why do you feel that way? Please, let us not make this about Republicans versus Democrats. Educated answers only as this is to inspire bipartisan thought.

Most arguments against Global Warming are that the scientists who say it is happening are hacks or just meteorologists. Would NASA hire a guy and keep him on for 30 years if that is all he was? Furthermore, would they keep him in position to research and release official press reports on Global Warming?

But most on the board are connected to energy companies, either directly or through lobbying.

And if it doesn't exist, why are our most staunch ally and the conservative governor of Califormia taking measures to specifically fight Global Warming and Greenhouse gases?

All the misfortunes that africa faces who is to blame??? poverty....corruption.. Why is it africa in particuler dealing with such unlawful issues??

In my last question i was blaming the white western goverment for the downfall of africa. This is partly true. Reading some of the response, some blame the african goverment for their lack of emotion and sense of greed which is why their country and people suffer (this is true) but the western world have taken advantage of this factor and ignore the goverments corruption because if they interfere they will no longer be able to secertly steal our resources.

The western presidents want africa to fight and suffer so we don't see the the corruption they are doin our country by stealing our gold and dimonds. They give us the guns to kill eachother, white man created guns back in the day africans used to fight with sticks and stones.

So really who is to blame for evil and real corruption in the third world??

Last night I watched part of a speach given by Hillary Clinton. I am not sure at what event she was at, it was rather late and i was, for lack of a better term out of it. During the speach she offered an alternative to the Republican method of fixing Social Security. She mentioned something about offering a busniess based social security plan that would force businesses to provide reterired employes with better benifts. However, becuase I did not hear all of the speach I missed the major details. Could someone fill in the blanks? I have not been following politics as close as I should be over my summer break so any information would help. Please no obsured comments about either party keep it professinal.

Something's happening to our democracy by degrees and it's though the citizens THINK they're powerless to do something about it. Why isn't there a tremendous outcry about what this president's doing to the country?!!

Please refrain from insults- I know that there is the English Monarchy, etc. But apparently, the Queen doesn't wield any power- is this true?

Or, have the monarchies become an outdated idea?

I think that both Bush and Cheney and their administration should be impeached, they got the united States in a war that didn't have to happen all because they wanted more oil and power. Should more lives be lost?

Over the weekend he made a visit to Iran and is now bent on steering Venezuela into the Axis of Evil. It's also been reported that Iranian and possibly Hamas officials have been spotted in Caracas. For all his anti-American rhetoric, he's a small man leading a small country that wants to be a major world player. His claims that the U.S. is going to attack Venezuela is just a smokescreen for him to consolidate power and reamin in office for life. The millions of rifles he recently purchased (not to mention the Kalashnikov factory he just announced) will no doubt find their way into neighboring Colombia and help to further destabilize tht country. He's aligned himself with Ahmadenijad who has repeatedly called for Israels destruction, pursues nuclear weapons and aids terrorist groups like Hamas, Hezbollah and possibly FARC in Colombia in the near future. He's becoming more than just a fly to swat, he's becoming Mussolini to Ahmadenijad's Hitler.

With all the millionaires and billionares in the World, why is the third world still poor???? im not racist but i think white people jus want 2 see good things happen for their own and let the others suffer. There is so much destruction in the third world but who is to blame white people i say! Im not saying its you but ur ancestors or great great great grandfather is to blame and it is a shame that todays goverment bush..blair and all the white presidents allow this unlawful behaviour 2 still happen. For example the diamond and gold trade is making so much money out of africa but if AFRICAN president was to demand a pay rise for the work force digging up the diamounds and golds (MAJORITY OF WHOM ARE CHILDREN) or if our AFRICAN president was to cut off access to diamond and gold mines, that african country would suffer and would be ignored by the developing world. You may think oh well they are not being fare they asking for 2 much? No it is the developing world that is taking 2 much!

It seems that we are the only one's who can be objective on political issues. The democrats and republicans root for their side like it's a football match. I read both sides and, frankly, I oppose Bush on many issues, but the truth is often obscure. Any thoughts?
