Government - July 2006

History has shown that most terrorism is caused by governemnts trying to gain control of thier domestic populations, from British bombings blamed on the IRA actually admitted to being carried out by MI6, to Putins inept attempt to fram chechian seperatists by having Russian secret agents place bombs and blow up apartment buildings to the attack on the USS Liberty by israel under the direct control of President Johnson to permit the US to blame the loss of the ship on Egypt and give an excuse for the US to enter the 6 day war.

I find it bizzare that the u.s. hasnt yet figured out ANYTHING about the execution of the 911 strike. The u.s. govt has done NOTHING but sweep 911 under the carpet and exploit hatred (it seems to me). Take for instance the fact that wtc#7 collapsed without explaination, and wtc1 and wtc2 were pulverized by a gravity fall. IMPOSSIBLE. sorry. The story we have been told is not floating in the scientific communities, NOR is it floating in the diplomatic communities. The u.s.'s overreaction to 911 has spurred global hatred. DO NOT allow the veil of lies to betray those who died on that fateful day.

so that's the main question: why are americans so easily manipulated to forget the lies regarding 911?

Some of the earlier questions have been equally daft so why not? Bringing Gadaffi into the picture adds a bit of variety....

If the government taxes a corporation and spends every dollar it collected, those dollars go right back out into the economy. If the government cuts corporate taxes and spends less, those dollars may never get spent. I don't know of any business person that decided not to go into business because they were concerned they would have to pay taxes on their profits. Am I missing something here? If you choose to answer, please be polite, don't call me names and proof your answer so you look literate

i.e immigration, hezbollah, iraq, gay marriage, patriot act etc. I mean what are we (left/right wing) divided over if nobody is getting real results? All I see is 1 side bashing the other about their views? And why is that? Why do Republicans call Democrats stupids and why do Democrats think Republicans are insensitive to human life? Are these assertions true? Observe as I am insulted for asking such a relevant question.

most requests are not accepted for almost no reason, some of the requests are accepted only if a Saudi spent many years outside the country.

If a Saudi just get married and bring the wife or husband to Saudi they could face penalty of jail and they will be fired from their work.

This is just one thing of many violations of human rights in Saudi.

Can anyone tell me what do the permanent residents in your country eligible for? eg. government subsidised rental housing, medical, education, unemployed benefits, etc. And do they have the same privilege as the citizens? I would love to hear from people in any country about this topic.

If you have read Yahoo!News this morning, you may have seen Exxon Mobil Corp.'s recent release of its 36% jump in profit earnings from a year ago. Furthermore ConocoPhillips report of $5 billion in earnings. Something has got to be done, when gas here in Florida is running almost $3 a gallon, and in many states its much worse.
How long are we going to allow Washington and the Oil Companies to take advantage of the American people and push us all into the Poor House?!! As oil prices rise the prices on EVERYTHING go up.
Anybody got any ideas what we can do collectively, as a country?
Any suggestions from other countries is welcome.

and Mexico pleaded with us to get rid of them and not support them or allow them into our government, but we ignored their requests, would you expect Mexico to just sit back and say "Oh well!"? Or would you expect them to take action? If American children were killed in this "action", would you blame Mexico? Or our government?
