I think that there was many ways that they could have stopped the attacks from happening. Our country had many warnings that htey were going to do something but it is like we just brushed them off. Maybe now our country has learned a valuable lesson.

I was here, across the street from the World Trade Center on 9-11. I saw the fireball come out of the south tower and go up the sides of the building. People jumping as the heat became too intense. People, myself included, running from the huge debris cloud that seemed to follow us and envelop us as we tried to stay ahead of it. Being unable to go back to our office for months thereafter. I am still here, across the street from the World Trade Center. I still recall as the first tower fell and then the second tower imploded. What I know about 9-11 will never be forgotten.
