most requests are not accepted for almost no reason, some of the requests are accepted only if a Saudi spent many years outside the country.

If a Saudi just get married and bring the wife or husband to Saudi they could face penalty of jail and they will be fired from their work.

This is just one thing of many violations of human rights in Saudi.

A very closed society. Citizens, by law, must be Muslim. They are banned from speaking to foreign nationals or members of the media. The list goes on and on.

Not as bad as Burma or North Korea, however.

Did you know that 15 out of the 19 highjackers came from Saudi Arabia and Iraq had nothing to do with 911.

Yes, it is still a closed, tribal type of society. They do not readily welcome outsiders. Who are we to say it's wrong. If they want to marry someone from the outside, and their homeland does not accept them- then why would they want to live there.
