Because then Twig would have to tighten up the environmental laws he just loosened for his buddies in big business a couple of years ago. Just this year, for the first time, he finally acknowledged there may be such a thing. And coming from that bozo, saying there "may be" such a thing as global warming is a big step. Why he even went so far as to encourage the development of alternative fuel sources for cars - but did he tighten up the regulations on pollution that he had relaxed several years ago? Of course not!! When you're an idiot - its difficult sometimes to see the truth.

And how can you say that. We are continuously implementing stricter environmental standards. That hasn't changed. Maybe its not as fast as you like, but its also making sure we don't cost ourselves out of the world. This is expensive, and who's going to pay some seniors heating bill because of this.
In addition, what do you want the President to do? The REAL experts are arguing as to what is causing the Global warming. Data is supporting cyclic weather patterns. Show someone some evidence to the contrary. You can't, it's not there.
So your word are just frivolous complaining.

I dont think its that the adminstration doesnt care. I think its because there is not resounding proof or agreement in the scientific community that the warming of the planet isnt a natural cycle. Ive seen Al Gores movie. I think it was well done but theres also another side of the debate that many people want to ignore. Example; this is the hottest summer that Europe has had in 300 yrs. Meaning that 300 years ago it was as hot and there were no green house gas emissions. I like hearing both sides of this debate but so far I see plenty of evidence that the warming of our planet is a natural cycle. Thanks

Because it's big money companies that do the biggest share of greenhouse gas pollution, if not directly, then by their products. Guess who owns and runs these company - mostly Bush and his right wing cronies who could care less about 'global warming' because most of them will be long gone by the time it gets serious, so why spend their 'hard-earned money' fixing something that isn't quite broken yet.

in a way we can care about our world because we live here, but if its meant to happen it happens...we don't have any power over climate change.
-its not just upto the government to care about our world but it is also upto us......we as humans destroy the earth in order to survive.....we take land that can be use for crops to build homes, we cut down trees, we need natural resources to live and besides the government has too many issues on top of the global warming issue.

Gloal Warming isn't really happening. It is a natural cycle that earth takes every hundred years or so. We only have about five years left of this before people start to worry about "Global Cooling."

Because it is a farce. Earth is not getting magically hotter and even if it is, it is because of cycles that have been occurring forever. Global warming is one of those things that liberals like to fight for because they are too stupid to get into real politics like the war in Israel. Its just like PETA. No one with actual power takes it seriously. Also, if the Earth really is warming up to dangerous levels, what are we going to do about it? Are you not going to drive around in your SUV and move into a house with solar panels? No you're not; that is one of the funny things about liberal lunatics. Conservatives care about real issues like fags overrunning the world, abortion and limiting social programs, and you, led by Al Whore, care about the temperature of the Earth going up.
