10 years ago I left the United States voluntairily with no apparent immigration problems after staying for 4 months. I was proceeding with an application for green card as my husband was american. However, I left before it was sorted and it looks like I left wth an overstay. 6 months after being back in Great Britain I asked he US embassy to stamp my passport to let me return though they wouldn't. Does anyone know if now 10 years later I will have any problems re-entering the US if I just get on a plane and go back for a fortnight - my passport is clean?
Thanks - I may sound silly though it was a very peculiar time in my life back then.

Texas is the only state that retained the option to secede from the Union, when it became a state from a Republic.
We have all we need here. Our own oil, crops, water, etc.

We even had our own Embassy in London. The building is still standing. I was there.

...More specifically, working for the Canadian embassy, preferrably in northwestern Europe (Brussels, etc.)?

What education would I need (major)?
What job experience would I need (where should I start volunteering or what sector should I gain experience in)?
What life experiences do I need to have?
...and anything else you can think of.

I'm a Canadian university student at a crossroad here!

The ture face and underface of Mumbai is different than what is shown on TV, in Films, or in the News Paper or the News Channel. In TV it is shown that people who live in Mumbai have a prosperous life, make good money, wear good clothes, speak good english, go to disco, clubs, night bar dancers, enjoy life, have lavish income and lead a sufficient glamorous life. BUT THIS IS NOT TRUE. MUMBAI ID DIVIDED INTO SMALL SUBURBS, WHICH ARE VILLAGES, PEOPLE HERE ARE MORE ORTHODOX AND BACKWARD, NORROW MINDED THAN those living in towns. Each suburb in Mumbai does not have basic facilities like Library, nor a proper Municipal hospital, nor a government school, nor a government dental hospital. It is very very difficult to travel to any other suburb in Mumbai to go to school or hospital, or college or even simple thing like to buy clothes. Housewifes are trapped and house bound due to this worst situation. The mavalis and eve teasing Rickshaw-wala make it much more worse to travel in Mumbai.

What is the general consensus on the UN? I think they are there simply to make the bad guys look like good guys...scape goat on the US (who they are just as evil as) and increase the world economy with their country being major beneficiary.
