Texas is the only state that retained the option to secede from the Union, when it became a state from a Republic.
We have all we need here. Our own oil, crops, water, etc.

We even had our own Embassy in London. The building is still standing. I was there.

Secede and take Bush with you! Let him ruin just TX and maybe the rest of the U.S. can recover. Also you can have all of the illegals since a lot of them cross over from Mexico into TX.

As a part aspect, the Emancipation Proclamation did not ban slavery everywhere in the U. S. -- merely in the states attempting to leave the union. better centrally -- i'm wondered with suggestions out of your question. How ought to a proclamation from one aspect in a conflict end the conflict (except it develop into giving the different aspect what it wanted)? To the quantity that the Proclamation ended slavery in the southern states, that merely ought to create a rationalization for the southern states to strive against longer and bigger sturdy. The conflict lasted until eventually the North beat the South on the battlefield. ANd sure, the South develop into rebelling.

You know, I am not sure that would be a bad idea. Won't happen anytime soon, but just a small thing like the threat of a civil war and occupation should stop you. Just let me know what you decide to do that, I really do need to move out before you do.
