Pretend for one reason or another, you HAD to vote for someone of the opposite political party. Who would you vote for, and why would you choose that person?

I'll start: I'd vote for Huckabee, because even though I would agree with him on almost nothing, he seems real, and isn't trying to fake what he believes, just to get votes (unlike some others in the GOP.)

Your turn...

The hatred against Hillary stems from 1992. In 2004 Teresa Heinz-Kerry was called a ***** on Saturday Night Live. Michelle Obama and Elizabeth Edwards have been had their names dragged in the mud by the media. I do not recall the media going after any Republican candidate’s wife.

I've noticed recently I've been hearing a lot more abou this guy from many different types of people who say they want to vote for him? And not in a rabid, zealous, Ron-Paul zombie sort of way either (thank the powers that be!). If you are a Huckabee supporter, explain how this guy who used to be a nobody all of a sudden started getting noticed!

Do you make up your own mind about politics or are you influenced by a celebrity's support for a candidate? I like (liked) Obama, but am turned off by the whole Oprah thing and the media hype; it's so overboard and feels like a born-again revival fest. He shouldn't need this type of campaigning. Why would anyone vote for him just because she says so?

I have heard that you attend and then the votes are tallied, and that then the small candidates are eliminated and the people who voted for an eliminated candidate can vote again for one of the politicians who scored higher. Is that accurate?

"Democrats' fury grows over destroyed C.I.A. tapes"
I have a hard time believing that, after every thing that has preceded this, the Democrats could get furious over anything. I think they took fury off the table. What do you think? Are you as sick of these wimps as I am?

I am only 13 years old and I'm really confused with all of the t.v. commercials for people running for president. I don't understand what each political party wants–
It would be great if you said WHICH PARTY and WHY you are going to vote for them.
Thanks!

Im no poltical hack for the right or left wing side of things. Im a fair and objective person who votes for the most qaulified candidate who I think will do the best job based on past performance... and qaulifications...not sex, race, party affiliation, etc.
Can anyone honestly say with a straight face that Hillary Clinton is qaulified to run this Country as President?
If the right woman came along.... she would have my vote for certain... but I see this woman as a Socialist Liberal Phony trying to pretend she is a Moderate, and at the same time, using people behind the scenes to doctor questions at political rallies, and dig up dirt about other candidates.
I know politics is dirty... but can anyone honestly say this woman is qaulified to be president just because she is a woman? or qaulified to be President..... PERIOD?
I want to hear your take on the subject... WHY or WHY NOT?

Are women brainwashed to believe they are only good for Playboy or making babies?

Seems like many women(even men) are catty towards each other and cannot accept females as authority figures.
Cause if that wasnt the case there would have been at LEAST 1 woman President in America by now.......since the year America, land of the free and equal was born.

Over 200 years of "free and equal" and no woman President yet? hmmmmmmmmmmmm interesting.

And for those who are slow and will point out that women havent had the right to vote until recently...........THAT's exactly my point. It isnt free and equal then..... is it?????

I see a troubling direction for this country. I feel this election may be the most relevent in our long history. We see now the same ideologue of those Russian Revolutionaries who brought to their country the collectivist mindset. Are we to be the Peoples State of America?

Who do you like? I respect your decision.
