What events would have to transpire to bring a majority of American voters to a point in their thinking that they would vote for a candidate, regardless of race or gender?

Have any of these things already happened?

what are his stand-out qualities? average student, business failure, poor president. most presidents had something in their past that made them stand out from the crowd. high intellegence, leadership skills, military honors, something, anything. if george had not been born into the bush family, you would have never heard of him. he does not have the talent to do it on his own merits

Once again the government has proved how inept it is at doing anything. The cost of living adjustment for people on social security was 2.3% but the increase in premimums for medicare was 3.2%. Instead of attacking the drug companies and insurance companies for ripping off everyone they ignore reality and push the burden on the people. WHY??

He always seems to speak in platitudes. I realize that politics is largely about the bully pulpit, but can anyone provide one tangible accomplishment, program, legislative initiative, or policy enactment for which he's been responsible?

“Beacon Hill Institute and Dr. Kotlikoff estimate the FairTax base for 2007 to be $11.244 trillion.” www.FairTax.org I just now read the 2006 paper analyzing HR-25 and using some 2006 GDP reports. The BEA website does not keep older estimates, and the December 2007 estimate does not match the paper. The tables that the professor cites, i.e. 5.4.5B and 2.4.5 to name a few, are not in the December 2007 report. Is it not risky to base one's analysis and policy on a single information source and not check individual figures against alternative sources in industry or the government or against more recent information? The paper actually using economic data from 2006 analyzes the 2005 Act intended to be inacted in 2007. Because we are in 2007 and the 2007 Act is designed to be implemented in 2009 at the 23% rate, the economic assumptions may have shifted, which may account for my differing calculations and apparent shortfall in revenue.

I can't think of a better word that personifies a dirty, lying, evil politician, like her.

She would always sell out her own socialists, if she thought it would help her to sustain or gain more power and control.

Do you think sHrillery defines the "C" word?

I don't think America needs a governor for president right now. I think congressmen and senators would make much better leaders. So, if Ron Paul were to win the Republican Party nomination (and I hope so), and found out that he NEEDED to get one of the Republican candidates, who would he choose? Who's the most suitable? Do you think Fred Thompson would balance things well for Ron Paul?

Please explain...

I'm not saying yes or no, I'm only asking because as we all know men and women are completely different from one another. So I'd just like to know if any, what things would make her a good or bad president? This is not a sexiest question either, so if you're going to talk talk nonsense please don't respond?

Latest poll shows him 3rd behind Huckabee and Romney. And I know the Ron Paul haters will say I'm nuts, But I still think Paul's going to surprise. Not win; But surprise. Do you think an embarassing fourth place finish in Iowa could/would sink Rudy's campaign?

I must admit that I recently saw a Yahoo Answer which simply said: " A DEMOCRAT IS SOMEONE WHO WANTS SOMETHING FOR NOTHING " & I found myself agreeing with this definition---. Do you agree or disagree ?? Could you define a Democrat in one sentence ?---- If so, what is that one sentence that you think defines a Democrat ?- PLEASE LIMIT YOUR DEFINITIONS TO ONE SENTENCE.
