I don't think America needs a governor for president right now. I think congressmen and senators would make much better leaders. So, if Ron Paul were to win the Republican Party nomination (and I hope so), and found out that he NEEDED to get one of the Republican candidates, who would he choose? Who's the most suitable? Do you think Fred Thompson would balance things well for Ron Paul?

Please explain...

Fred Thompson would not make a good vice president for Ron Paul and I doubt that Ron Paul would ever ask him. Ron Paul said he wouldn't accept a VP nomination from any of the candidates because he doesn't want to support someone that isn't Constitutional. I doubt he would ever offer any of them a VP nomination because of that reason. I bet that if he would nominate anyone for the position it will be some one that is as sold on the Constitution as Ron Paul is. Other then that I don't see Fred Thompson or any other hopeful candidates getting a VP nomination from Ron Paul.

I think that maybe Ron Paul has someone else in mind for his VP. None of the current candidates are on the same page as he is so to bring one of them in as the vice president would be redundant.

No, I think Thompson is not serious about this whole thing.
I also don't think Thompson has the experience. I wouldn't vote for Ron Paul if he picked him.

Ron Paul is a threat to the ruling elite -- which is why he is constantly demonized by the propagandists. To bring in a member of that ruling elite as a vice-president undermines his candidacy and possibly is a threat to his own life should he somehow manage to win the election.
