Barack Obama, you know how many death threats he receives, simply for being black and running for president. He is the only candidate that is under protection so far.

It must be scary for him, and im sure if he becomes president, there will be attempts at assassination

None of them. I don't know one person who would die for his or her country. I know people who would risk death, but that's a totally different question and I think every candidate would say "yes" to that. Doing something that will bring certain death for your country - or for any cause - is martyrdom and that's just not something this country reinforces.
