Pretend for one reason or another, you HAD to vote for someone of the opposite political party. Who would you vote for, and why would you choose that person?
I'll start: I'd vote for Huckabee, because even though I would agree with him on almost nothing, he seems real, and isn't trying to fake what he believes, just to get votes (unlike some others in the GOP.)
Your turn...

Walter: I realize all the stuff about Huckabee in the news right now. I would never vote for the man, and he's not necessarily the best Republican out there, but as I said, he APPEARS to be the most truthful candidate; isn't that all that politics is: those who appear to be the best are elected?

YEAH what the first person said. Actually, I wasn't ANYTHING. This is the first time I've ever registered and the first time I've ever voted (I've never even voted for Homecoming Queen). And the first time I've ever funded a candidate and the first time I've ever been involved in politics. Hell, I may even MAJOR in political science or economics. RON PAUL.
And to the lady above... only people like you believe that he hasn't a chance. Voting for Freedom and Liberty and against H.R. 1955 is NOT wasting my vote. Thanks ;)

Obama. Because I don't want Hilary to be president Again.
Seriously. Obama seems to have a healthy family view which is somehting this country could use. Though I'm not sure I want to vote for anyone on either side right now with some of the things coming to light.
As a note. I don't agree with the war but we can't logistically pull out now. Not just up and leave. If we do then we are wimps and the target will get bigger.
Personally. I say abolish parties. Save lots of money and make people vote on individuals instead of a foggy "party platform". We might actually have to think for ourselves then...but hey.

Huckabee turned me Republican.
Washington politics have failed this country wrong for some time. I fear Clinton will further this legacy even more than a Republican successor of Bush.
However, I made this assumption presupposing Clinton as the nominee. If it turns out to be Obama, I might be swayed. I do believe health care needs to be reformed and Obama is in a better political position to do this than Huckabee would. Just as long as its not government mandated universal health care...which would be a disaster. Imagine walking into a place thats like the DMV...except that rather than goofing up your registration, they goof up with your health O.O!!

I am a Republican. I would vote for Dennis Kucinich. Why? Because he seems to be the most trustworthy of the democratic party. He speaks the truth and has the views on the constitution that many of us should also have.

Ron Paul,
The man has show time and time again that he stands for the people. Iraq is a lie and he did not vote to send in our troops. Look at his record in office if you need to.
As a side note, you might want to go read up on old Huckabee before you find your foot in your mouth.

i'm British, yet i will actual say that i don't have an 'opposite' celebration. At each point, I vote for the guy or celebration who i think terrific represents my united states of america and my own pastimes. from time to time it fairly is one celebration, from time to time it fairly is yet another. i'm completely persuadable as I save an open techniques.

I'm a democrat. I am going down and change over to republican and vote for Huckabee. My own party now makes me sick. If you are brave enough to face the truth, go take the VaJoe canidate test. http://www.vajoe.com/candidate_calculator.html

I'm a democrat. I'd vote for Ron Paul because he is the only one who opposes war, which is better even than what most of the dems are at this point.
