Or are women just going to see Oprah?

It's extremely depressing that millions of voters don't study the important issues, but instead take the lazy way out by voting based on celebrity endorsement or, as was the case with JFK, good looks.
Possibly we could do a "test" election on "American Idol" or "Dancing with the stars."

look at celebrities endorsing products that go on the show and end up getting a major boost from appearing on her show (like josh grobin, jessica seinfeld, james frey, etc.) some women (and even men) will absorb whatever Oprah says and promotes while others that watch the show don't necessarily buy what she's selling. so in my personal opinion i think he'll get a bit of a boost from some of Oprah's avid fans which i think is weird for people to make important choices based on some tv personality they like.

Yes, for if 90% of the people worldwide adore Oprah and her beliefs including an honest belief in the capabilities of Obama then sure votes roll in. As to go where Oprah is be with Obama or not women go there because they want to -for curiosity and mere privilege to see in person a very generous, successful celebrity. I would like to see her if given the chance,.

Possibly....But I also think Oprah will lose some fans as a result or her endorsement of Obama. I am sick & tired of celebrities/movie stars ( the vast majority of which are left wing ) attempting to use their billions, millions, popuarity & influence to turn an ELECTION into the EMMYS. Oprah, Barbara & many others who engage in these huge " fundraising/endorsements " are living proof of the dire need for massive campaign reform in the US.----Maybe , in all fairness, Oprah's liberal celebrty endorsement of Obama should grant " equal time " by allowing an " opposing " celebrity, like Jeff Foxworthy ,to issue his endorsement by stating that...........You might be a Redneck If.....You vote for Obama.

Oprah does carry a great deal of effect. even nevertheless i'd desire that folk will use action picture star endorsements as a commencing place truly of a decision making place. If a action picture star endorses some thing it could make me evaluate that individual yet to no longer the factor the place i'd immediately recommend somebody in basic terms reason Oprah did.

I hope not. I hope all these people are just going to see Oprah. Unfortunately there will be some who will vote for him just because Oprah likes him. How sad it is when you have so many people influenced by others opinions. I wish they were all educated enough to look at the issues and not the celebrities.

PIX-ED How sad, you would probably have so many more
pay attention to a dance off instead of a debate.

Nope. Obama has definitely won a coup by making friends with Oprah. Oprah is one of the most influential TV personalities in all time, and her opinion is hugely influential. I don't know many women who would go to a political rally to see anyone at all. Just because Oprah is there won't matter, except that it has a better chance of being televised.

I like your sense of humor but lets not just use Oprah and Obama. Everyone has some type of star saying they are the best. And yes, it is sad people dont think for themselves

Oprah will help Obama with the undecided women who typically vote democrat. That could be just enough for him to edge out Hillary in the primaries. Either way it will be close.

If Oprah can put Anna Karenina on the New York Times best seller list, I sure think she can move some votes Obama's way.
The question is HOW many?

I would like to think that Americans have their own opinion and that since Obama is not one of her Must read Books, that no Oprah, will not = votes, but... I digress..
