I'm registered as an independent. I know everytime I have renewed my license they ask me about my poliitcal affiliation--but it's been several years. I'd like to register as republican for the primaries, but I can't see sitting for an hour plus at the DMV just to register as a republican. Is there any other way to change it? (I'm in North Carolina, btw)

She goes by the way of polls, like her husband. She hasn't done anything herself without a poll - it's been proven. Her husband destroyed us for the past 8 years - Gore would have won if it weren't for Bill! Why do we like her so much? When will we learn that she is not the best thing for us at this point? Where is Liberman or ?

What are your opinions on what certain people said? And why do you think that? Who do you support and why?

Just asking around! :)

I think the candidates never answer honestly. they can't afford to say one wrong thing. But its hard for them because they are asked difficult questions.

While the Richard J Daley vote early and often method of ballot box stuffing has been supplanted by the 21st century Diebold Virtual Voter method of ballot box stuffing it is not dead!

Now we have the dead making campaign contributions!!! I'm thinking that Dick Daley would be proud to see this latest twist on his pioneering Ballot stuffing trick!!!

I would say to them, this won't decide who I vote for, this will decide who I don't vote for, "Are you behind this President, and his policies"?

Senator Biden, Senator Clinton, Senator Dodd, and Senator Obama. Does this change your view on them as potential Presidents? Colonel Harry Riley USA ret. wrote "I don't much care where you come from, what your religion is, whether you're black, white or some other color, male or female, democrat, republican or independent, but I do care when you're a United States Senator, representing citizens of America and vote against English as the official language of the United States . Your vote reflects betrayal, political surrender, violates your pledge of allegiance, dishonors historical principle, rejects patriotism, borders on traitorous action and, in my opinion, makes you unfit to serve as a United States Senator. What do you think? If you could have a different official language what would it be?

My parents and I were having this conversation and they said that African American men have made it to the final presidency elections, but I am trying to figure out who and when. I think that it's a great thing and I am looking forward to see if an African American man or a woman makes it to the final elections. I am having trouble finding a site that has this history. I want information about only those that have reached the final elections not preliminaries and all that.

"My plan to turn our economy around has four components: creating the new, good jobs essential to broad-based prosperity; restoring fairness to our economy; renewing the basic bargain that if you work hard, you can get ahead; and putting our fiscal house in order again. I will help create opportunity for those left out during the Bush years while shifting the cost of the changes we need to those special interests that have gotten a free ride."

It would be huge news if Fox had planted questions from Republican campaigns in questions to Democrat candidates. Given that CNN planted multiple "gotcha" questions from a Clinton campaign member, several Obama supporters and an Edwards suppporter. Why are there no articles about this on Yahoo?

He won the required number of electoral votes and after recount after recount he still came out ahead. Gore conceded the election, yet there are still people out there who say he isn't president. By what criteria does one become president then?
