Voting purely on either race or gender is wrong. I should sincerely hope that you already know this. As for voting democrat, why would you vote for anyone representing an organization that was Pro slavery and has continued to do everything within it's power to oppress? After the 1960's, it's it changed it's outward personna to appear as though it's trying to help. But when you look at the facts, you get an entirely different picture. If social programs such as welfare are supposed to be helping, then why do they only concern themselves with how many they can get signed up? Wouldn't it be far better to see how many they can make self-sufficient and self supportive enough to no longer need the assistance? But to vote on either race or sex is, to say the least, racist and sexist.

Honestly...neither. You should base your vote on someone who is actually going to try to give this country what we need. Listen to their campaigns and see what they are all about. But if you are sticking with the choice between Obama and Clinton.....then I would choose Obama over Clinton any day. So there is no way I could ever vote based on race or gender because I am a white female!

I would recommend leaving gender AND race totally out of it. Vote for the person who you feel would be capable of doing the best job as President of our country. Base that vote on your views and what you want to see accomplished by that President. Do you feel that Barack has the capability of being a great President? Do you feel that he would be able to do the job effectively? Do you feel that Hillary would be the one capable? How about Mitt? John McCain? The rest?

Look at what they say, stand for, and go from there. Forget the rest.

As for what David above me just said about the Republicans trying to make it about race or gender, I don't think so. It's actually HILLARY trying to make it gender, nobody else.

of direction human beings might desire to vote according to coverage and whoever can do the activity the excellent, it rather shouldn't even rely what celebration they're linked with in the event that they're the excellent individual for the activity. in spite of the undeniable fact that, submit to in recommendations that there'll be some human beings balloting for McCain entirely simply by fact he's male and white, I word which you probably did no longer point out that, and there has been a two hundred 365 days historic previous of white male applicants (aside from Geraldine Ferraro and Jesse Jackson). In all of that two hundred+ years i'm going to guess there grow to be somebody else who might have executed a greater desirable activity who wasn't male or white. individually, i think of Ralph Nader is the excellent candidate based entirely on coverage and potential, yet dammit he's not in the working.

The republicans are trying to make this a race/gender issue. There is no reason why a black woman cannot vote for a white man if you believe he will best address the issues that are important to you. So just vote for your best candidate and dont worry about what other people think or say. I like Obama because I think he represents the best future for this country, not because he looks like me. I never voted for Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson and I probably would not have voted for Colin Powell or Condaleeza either had they run. Because after all the hype has died down, the president still has to be able to do the job in a way that benefits me and my ideas for the future.

Well, you shouldn't be voting on either one. You should be voting based on the issues, the moral character of the candidate, the candidate's strengths, and their philosophies on how government should be run.
I would suggest you vote for Barack Obama.

Uh, you should vote based upon the ISSUES. Remember the issues? As long as one is still caught up with gender and race differences, one cannot make an intelligent choice...

Vote based on who you think will be a better leader and who you think is more capable of solving our countries many issues, race or gender should have nothing to do with it, that's where allot of peoples judgment gets clouded.

How about voting for who you think will do the best job, regardless of race or gender?

Neither. Vote based on which candidate shares your beliefs, or which candidate you feel can do the best job.

Or, in my case, I'm voting for whomever p*sses me off the least.
