I have watched both debates and both partys have been interesting. If you were to make a choice only in relations to this war.

So that's the Republican constituency, aye? It's disgusting and terrifying. Please don't let this country be taken over by rednecks. They really aren't cool. Really.

I'm not real political savy. I know we have people running for president and after a little while there will be a few of them left and all of a sudden though they will also have a Vice President candidate with them. How is it decided whom that will be?

Why haven't we heard anything about Dick Cheney running for president? Is it because he just doesn't want it or because they know there's no way he could win with the record he and Bush have left?

Is this due to the rising cost of healthcare and hatred towards Bush creating an emotional decision? This is a question I received in school.

The concern is for the MOM & POP shops that create jobs and make up a large part of our economy, but can't afford to offer insurance or pay higher taxes.

I've argued with many and many people who were thinking about voting for Rudy, and their reasons are: good domestic (he cant even take care of NYC), and because he looks strong. Their arguements for supporting his foreign policies are so weak.

33 Senators Voted Against English as America 's Official Language

On Wed, 6 June 2007 23:35:23 -0500, "Colonel Harry Riley USA ret" wrote:

Senators,

Your vote against an amendment to the Immigration Bill 1348, to make English America 's official language is astounding. On D-Day no less when we honor those that sacrificed in order to secure the bedrock character and principles of America . I can only surmise your vote reflects a loyalty to illegal aliens.

I don't much care where you come from, what your religion is, whether you're black, white or some other color, male or female, democrat, republican or independent, but I do care when you're a United States Senator, representing citizens of America and vote against English as the official language of the United States

Your vote reflects betrayal, political surrender, violates your pledge of allegiance, dishonors historical principle, rejects patriotism, borders on traitorous action and, in my opinion, makes you unfit to serve as a United States Senator... impeachment, recall, or other appropriate action is warranted.

Worse, 4 of you voting against English as America 's official language are presidential candidates: Senator Biden, Senator Clinton, Senator Dodd, and Senator Obama.

Those 4 Senators vying to lead America but won't, or don't have the courage, to cast a vote in favor of English as America's official language when 91% of American citizens want English officially designated as our language.

This is the second time in the last several months this list of Senators have disgraced themselves as political hacks... unworthy as Senators and certainly unqualified to serve as President of the United States.

If America is as angry as I am, you will realize a back-lash so stunning it will literally rock you out of your panties... and preferably, totally out of the United States Senate.

The entire immigration bill is a farce... your action only confirms this really isn't about America ; it's about self-serving politics... despicable at best.

Never argue with an idiot; they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience." ~ anonymous

This was an un popular movement 4 years ago when Republican Tom Tancredo made public, that Illegal Immigration was destroying our hospitals and schools. Now all of the Republican Presidential Candidates, are supporting an Anti-Illegal Alien position, that Congressman Tancredo alone, had the courage to speak out about with all the alarming statistics, before it was popular with politicians. As for the Democrats, forget them. The Democrat Presidential Candidates still want Illegal Alien votes and continued benefits to Criminal Aliens. This outright Screw Job on American Citizens, will lead to an overwhelming Democrat Party DEFEAT in 2008. Go Tom Tancredo - the Marines Support you!.

Not really a question, more like a blog I guess.
I'm just watching this Republican debate, and the audience is contradicting themselves in their applause.

We clap, we boo (out loud or in our heads)
and we will vote. Mostly I'm addressing this to the voters by which their president would be elected.

In closing, I hope all of you don't vote based on Democrat or Republican or whatever.
As one person put it, "Anyone who votes on something without thinking about it or getting the facts, and just because you think you belong to a certain group, that person is an idiot"

Make a smart, personal decision everyone! While it's just one vote you cast, it makes a difference - if no one voted, then it wouldn't work you know.

- sorry if this question makes no sense, but I just wanted to say everything after "in closing" :)

Romney was recently asked a question by a man in a wheelchair who wants to legalize medical marijuana. He was asking him a legitimate question and Romney chose to ignore him.

as far a medical marijuana goes, I think it should be legalized (not to the public but for medical purposes) because it is proven as a successful way to treat many ailments.
