Why do voters feel content with Hillarycare today (same plan), when in 1993 it failed to pass by the Dems?

Question

Is this due to the rising cost of healthcare and hatred towards Bush creating an emotional decision? This is a question I received in school.

The concern is for the MOM & POP shops that create jobs and make up a large part of our economy, but can't afford to offer insurance or pay higher taxes.

Where do one get the idea that voters feel comfortable with Clinton's health Care Plan? Where is this publicised? And who is feeding this stuff in school? Apparently the Liberals are spreading lies when kids are already parroting the disrespect for the office of President ,hate for President Bush. because the cost of health care is rising? Mom and Pop shops do create jobs and seldom offer health insurance or pensions due to the high cost of the available plans. When the larger corporation's benefit packages add almost $ 2,000 per car then you know what the Unions have done.

These things evolve CONSTANTLY. That's why someone can vote for something once and then refuse it in the future. It could say "Free Health Care For Children" on the cover as it's title but inside say " New Admendment shall be added. Children under thet age of 14 are required to smoke in public view twice a day". Clearly noone would make anything like that,.. but you get the idea.. actually there were things similar to that. But anyways,.. things constantly evolve. [I would like to note I saw the text on some bills look much worse then mine some how and I am nodding off at the keyboard]

Currently Taxes are thrown out of whack. Your problems are because of how things are currently done,.. not their previous state or where they were headed. What you want is their old path restored,.. then Mom & Pop Shops would barely be effected by Taxes,.. instead it would go back the Big Businesses. Some people were going to try to head towards " If you are a Business in the Country and you have your employees out of the country, you still must face taxes and make up for the money you aren't paying your employees." They were going to set things up so you would have to pay as much to your employees there as if they were here. This way the extra taxes and still paying the same ammount would drive those businesses to return work here.

I have been haveing my Healthcare cut down by Bush,.. some times you don't have Dental and Vision for a couple years because things he allows is bounceing around. Some people make more in a month then I get in a year so there is no way I can afford what I get in a year towards my health care. My Rent is higher then when I get a month,.. we actually get negative money to tell the truth. But it's the nasty things Bush Does then has a nice story that the Media is supposed to cover.

Bush set things up so if you need assistence breathing until you can recover enough to breath on your own,.. you instead have so many days ( I think 40) to be completely independent of all life assistence. If at this tiem you cannot use your devine powers to go walk over to your ATM and come back with the money to support you until you recover,.. hospitals are supposed to remove all the equipment. Most people do not understand this but even the healthiest man can be in a car accident and until things set and heal correctly, he needs this kind of assistence. A Year from now he will be done with recovery and back to work but most people only think of vegtables for these things. So when he did this he got close to Shivo. I knew children who lost BOTH their Parents because of this.

Then there was the elimenateing all Autism programs, assistence, being part of things, and research. While you were watching Bush and the Autistic boy who can play basketball... Sciencetist were being escorted out of their offices and buildings. Told they could go back for their belongings later. A week later the buildings were emptied or demolished. Just you remember to tell your unborn children not to choose to be Autistic because if they are born after a time the Government can never offer them ANY assistence based on them haveing Autism.

No, it's because of all the dysfunctionality in the "system" at the present. If you add up all the areas where the government pays for health care, it's already: medicare and medicaid recipients (tens of millions) all government workers (20+ million people and their families) plus government retirees, veterans hospitals, mental health clinics, dialysis clinics, transplant insfrastructure, national Indian service, public health sites, medical research, and the list goes on.

By putting some rationality into the system, it would NOT cost as much as naysayers are saying, and it could not be a single payer system for the forseeable future. So please rant about something else or get some numbers straight.

Both parties are tugging each other under the table, it makes me sick...Please everyone, for the sake of our country, vote 3rd party no matter who or what happens, we all know they won't win anyways....but to make a 3rd party viable, will make a huge difference, in the attitudes of Dems and Reps. (as is harder and harder to distinguish between the two, once in office). No matter which of the 2 parties win, they will at least know that a large enough percentage want control brought back to the people. They both have gotten too good at, sneaking in pork belly, corrupt, favoritism pandering. Putting both on notice or "watch" will give the(shrinking into poverty) middle class an honest chance at a life. The whole conservative vs liberal ideology is just so much baloney when you think about it. Isn’t it like saying "change" vs "do not change?"... and how can either say they are not adding more laws, just to sneak in their pet payoffs. Its is almost impossible to get a business going, "completely by the book", (with the Federal and State requirements) unless you have some kind of "in" "special deal".... which is why there are so many "under the table" workers. Both parties have "cut their noses off to spite their face". They think they are creating tax revenue, but by making it too hard to compete with those pandered companies, they end up with "rogue" "zero ethics" flippant businesses, with so many people "temped", they not only deepened the health care problem but have dissolved the tax revenue they could have had if there were proper "check and balances" in place. Remember how Bill Clinton disallowed homeowners to claim home repairs as a tax writeoff? Did that bring tax revenue...no the contractors just didn't file on most of the jobs they did, because they knew there wasn't going to be a 1099 to even know what they actually made. And giving welfare moms, jobs going after "deadbeat dads" seems genius on the surface.....except for one very important detail....They are not bounty hunters! All they did when they needed more money to get their girlfriends in, was "triple bill" the stand up guys who took the responsibility for their kids, after all they knew where they were, by the "payoff support paid in full" records on their computer. You haven't saved the children or the moms (your daughters) if 1/2 the pool of men to choose from are downtrodden, basket cases, living in silent desparation over lopsided parent rights, and family court judges who (in the 80's when in CA every guy was labeled a molester during a divorce) didn't have the discernment level of a "crack whore on LSD" .This continual "what they want to hear" speech repertoire, billions for education,... what they don't tell you is "the nothing on the other side" part, and the "whoever falls through the cracks", just "hide em on some campsite". And I will for sake of our troops, stay completely off the subject of the war, (as we were not in Iraq before 9/11)..Bush was taliking out the side of his neck when he spoke about getting USA off the need for oil with alternate fuels, he obviously did nothing to enforce auto makers to downsize their designs, most new vehicals on the road today are gas hog trucks and SUV's, and all the BIO fuel advanced production does nothing when the oil companies control the gas stations, and don't make the supply availiable...Just over and over favortism pandering, makes me puke to think about it. Both parties have proven that they are either, void of understanding planning and executing logical solutions, or frustrated by the bypartisan power parades, subsquently resign to thinking, all they need to do is "business as usual" smile, pretend to care...and then float through their term, by passing the buck round and round. Without a 3rd party, set up for at least, the election "after" this one, or country will be toast...and that is IF we can light this fire under demreps butts right now by sticking to 3rd regardless of all the worthless hype,of paid for (with secret kickback) media propaganda!
Whenever a group gets together and makes a stance for all the rest, its human nature for an equal and opposite one to rise against it, because freedom means We dont want to all be forced one way, we want to choose as we go. So the liberal, conservative, democrate, republican, name tags are just letters in a row. Be sensible, bring in a 3rd party or be partly culpable for the demise of this once great nation, I now am too ashamed to put out my flag for anymore.

IF she were ever to get into office, her actions wouldn't remotely resemble any of her promises today.
