So that's the Republican constituency, aye? It's disgusting and terrifying. Please don't let this country be taken over by rednecks. They really aren't cool. Really.

Personally I am all for gun control as a moderate republican. That was ONE question by one goof who didn't know how to handle a gun and Duncan Hunter called him on it!

McCain, Huckabee, Tancredo did not claim to own guns and did not hurry to answer. I don't remember what Fred said.

Rudy made a fool of himself at the beginning and as usual all he did was quote his NY stats. If I wanted a statistition for President, I would go to MIT or another fine instituion to find a better one that Rudy!

McCain made it CLEAR he did not own a gun!

Does that HELP YOU at all?

VOTE TO KEEP AMERICA SAFE!

The fact that politics has actually been turned into a "sideshow" by the You-Tube debates is disturbing.

I agree with jtw532. Why is it that liberals only believe in freedom of speech if what you are saying agrees with them? And freedom from religion, not of religion? Just because someone goes to church or owns a gun does not make them a fanatic or a nut. Please don't let this country be taken over by liberals who will take away all our constitutional rights of free speech, free religion, and the means to defend ourselves!

Isn't it scary when the Democratic candidates are people who want to take your guns away from you so you can't defend yourself from the government, and one of their senators introduces legislation that essentially ends freedom of speech? The religious fanatics scare me, the people that believe law abiding citizens should be allowed to have guns do not.

That's CNN for you. They got to filter through all of the questions, so they handpicked the ones that made everyone look like religious nuts.

Watching the debate was like watching Fox Reality TV or some similar to the Jerry Springer Show.

I agree, that debate was pretty disturbing. Shows that 50% of the country still sits around with little clue to what's going on in regards to the bigger picture of the world.

isnt it more disturbining that there are people bigotted enough to believe that having religious beliefs makes them fanatics and foolish enough to believe that caring about the right to self defense makes one a nut.

the gun questions were bizarre. "What kind of guns do you own?"

What's the mentality that makes someone's gun so important to someone else?

And the fact that they booed Giuliani for saying that there should be regulations on gun ownership. I mean even the NRA supports background checks. Where do they get these yahoos?

That debate was the one thing they're all against... an abortion... it's like politics meets Jerry Springer... Who will be the first to have a reality show on Vh-1... I'm betting on Romney... once he comes out...
