i don't think asking the question is being stupid, but just to make it clear for me, explain to me why he mubbles on an international tv channel, to all his responses whenever he is answering debates, and never delivers clear and precise answers?

I find the guy refreshing, he doesn't have to change his story 3 million times like the front runners, he just says what he believes and lets you decide, he doesn't get into childish screaming matches like Mitt and Rudy did during the Immigration question.

I happen to like Fred Thompson and i hope he does well in the primaries. I am not saying he is the the most qualified and im not saying he will or should be the next president. What i am saying we should all at least hear the man out on where he stands on the "issues". He may not be the most "polished" or "glamorous" of the bunch but the man has some ideas that make sense. Just hear him out at least he stands for what he believes in and doesnt change his stance daily or tell you what he thinks you want to hear. And he surely will never give you an answer because its the "politically correct " thing to say. Listen to the man he is a straight shooter! We need a president that can "unify" the country not "polarize" it.

He's not that good an actor, either. You notice they keep his scenes on L&O to under 2 minutes.

He was a very good senator and will make good policy for our country if elected. He is not very electable at this point so you may have a point.

Well, he was never the brightest of politicians, a mediocre actor, so I suppose that qualifies him as being president....

If I looked like he did and had his wife, I wouldn't be leaving the house -- not even for Viagra. I'd have it shipped.

I think all the knuckledragging conservatives should stick to swinging from trees and leave civilization to the civilized.
