Two (2%) percent of the people in America have Fifty (50%)

That's right, they can't afford it!
Does this make the rich proud?
Who knows, it might!
Does this make the rich better Americans?
NO!
Does this act of greed and selfishness define the rich?
YES!
Does this mean that "The American Dream" is dead?
Maybe!
Probably so, at least for the next 14 months!

I searched through Yahoo! Answers and couldn't find anything relevant to the 2007 Louisiana Elections, so I made my own question. I realize that voting is today and by now (hopefully!) people know who they are voting for. Discuss, please!

Did anyone watch the interview with Mike Huckabee last night? If so, what was your impression of Huckabee? Also, does anyone know where someone could watch it online if that someone was able neither to watch nor to tape it?

P.S. Here is a link to the transcript, if you're interested in what they talked about:

1. Stop illegal immigration! Build the border fence and post 100,000 National Guard troops along the border.
2. Pull most U.S. troops out of Iraqi hotspots and just bomb the heck out of known insurgent hideouts. We have Cruise missiles, hellfire missiles and Abrams Tanks. Use them and quit sending U.S. troops in without softening up the enemy first with air raids and artillery fire.
3. Stop the import of Chinese and foreign made good illegally and unfairly. Start supporting U.S. manufacturers and make it so that for every 1 Chinese made product, there is 3 U.S. made.
4. Strengthening U.S. force levels by increased funds and incentives. Promote honor and integrity over money and self.
5. Stop taxing companies that make their products here. Give tax breaks to businesses that make their products solely in the U.S.
6. Lower taxes on everyone.
7. Stop taxing the rich simply for being productive and making a good living. I'll list more if they arise. Would you vote for me?

I mean in the history of the united states, if you could snap your fingers and have that person be president for 4 years, who would you pick?

I've heard of them busing voters around to different areas and voting more than once, also ballot box stuffing. But here's my point. You got close elections, like 45 million vs 45 million, real tight elections.

Now you have Rush, Savage, O'reilly, Hanniety, Beck, Dobbs and all this conservative, republican radio and television. They are very successful and bring home the bacon, yet there is no liberal, democrat version. You did have Air America which failed. You do have liberal/democratic types, but mainly on smaller channels.

Shouldn't it be about even, everyone eats, drinks, buys gas, clothes, etc. Advertisers want to reach everyone.

With this in mind shouldn't the vote difference be like 65%///35%? Could there be voter fraud to that magnitude?

I heard many articles about this, and some people say,
"women couldn't cote until 1920.only 87years had been passed from their victory"

And some people say,"It's lie.from 18Th century,already,
half of states in USA, women was voting."

And some people say," It depends on where they lived"

Which is true about this?

P.s-Don't say me women hater or elsevsince I like ladies.
Last time, when I asked something about feminism, weirdly,
some people called me like that.(A man doesn't have even any rights to know the truth Just?)

I think he has a great chance of winning. People are sick and tired of the Republican Party turning it's back on the issues we care about, and the Democratic Party does not have a strong candidate in any of their people.... esp. Clinton.

the majority as 51%+ Americans are not caucasian ) now to have a state ID in order to vote for the presidential candidate?
I can see the good in that it would cut down on fraud voting. On the other hand, I think it is going to stop many people, mostly the elderly, the poor, and some disabled populations from voting as they can't get to the Department of Motor Vehicles to get the card or can't afford the card. It looks like this law is going to go into effect according to the news today. It seems to me to be a good way to keep some of the minorities (the majority) from voting. I sure hope that every young person makes a concerted effort to vote and help others have the opportunity to vote as well, because in past elections only about 60% of Americans of voting age voted, and of that 60%, about 40% were the wealthy. Please read this thoughtfully and let us all know what you think.
